In insim the "racelaps" variable has a double-use for the different modes LFS has: practice (no limit) and race-length via laps or time limit:

So a change would break existing insim scripts, replay parsers etc for little gain.

Today third event of the Formula BMW Cup :
Track: South City Chicane Reversed
Laps sprint race: 14
Laps main race: 27

Start as usual at 19:30, that is a bit less than two hours from this post.

Oh, yet different idea:
I googled this "Uncheckitprogram" mentioned in your hosts file. To me it looks like a malware-blocker that itself is malware. It is hard to even find the homepage of that program because all results are about "how to remove it."
The entries it added to hosts file seem okay but who knows what else it does. I'd get rid of that and possibly reinstall OS.

random guess: in your router's setting try changing IPv6 to IPv4 (or other way around)

because the videos have non-demo content before having bought license and that makes modified game seem likely cause.

random download errors are not a problem: In worst case the installer does not work and you wasted a bit time and have to re-download.

Problem would be a purposefully altered file (for ex: inserted virus) that with tricks could have the same md5 as the original. But imo as said: a very theoretical problem.

The problem is that the md5 hashes are not unique: Two files can in theory have the same md5. With some fiddling it is possible to purposely create two different files that have the same md5. See the entries on this blog:

For practical purposes it would be more difficult though.

yes thanks, I found all the infos now. Was a good race, last one with old bumpy Blackwood chicane-bypass-route but it was actually nice for rallye

S3 league = all cars and tracks of LFS (with some limits: no rallyetracks etc)
Cup = seperate championship every third sunday. currently it is FBM Cup with sprint & main races.
In past there were Rally Cups, F1, Fz5 with success-ballast,..and other such stuff that is bit different formats.

But when I do, half the time goes into finding good rim color.

Did you make copies of these folders?
data\setups
data\layout
data\skins
If yes then just copy them into the new install.
If you had custom textures or other stuff, then also copy it into the new install and overwrite the existing files.

Currently running:
Fox friday races...on fridays.
absolute-beginners.nl has openwheel-cups sometimes (currently a FBM Cup)

There was also v8 league by rony but at the moment does 'AWD series' instead.

6) it says something about "blabla license", click the link and fill in the details in the profile-page that opens..

for the next steps I am unsure...

I managed to register for the next race..I think. Site is not so easy to use, on english setting only some parts are translated. At first I did not understand why it did not work, had to fill out profile details or something..
After registration on the site one has to set a time on the qualy server?

check if LFS is really used the dedicated videocard and not some onboard-graphics chip or if some power-saving options are enabled
