How it works for me with G27:
gears:
-set Clutch to "axis"
-set gearshift mode to "shifter"
-assign all 1-6 gears
-select a car with H-pattern gearbox (for ex Lx4, Raceabout)
ffb:
-force strength > 0
-force feedback: "yes"
-in profiler: "allow game to adjust controller settings" (not sure what is excact wording in english) and set rotation to same as the LFS cars
Today in ~3h30 minutes from this post:
NGT cars at Aston North for 22 laps
(UFR 3% restriction)
---
(previous race: the groups from P5-P9 and P15-P19 get all mixed during the last laps)
I do not understand wha "dedicated" league means while others are "rotation/friendlies"?
For example I would say FM FoxFriday is more 'dedicated' than CL because CL uses various cars while FM is dedicated to one car. (races are longer too = needs more 'dedication' to finish)
@ super_gt
In the right-hand turn, before the bridge / pitlane?
I noticed it somehow felt bumpier there and car (FOX and Lx4) seemed to understeer a bit more than usual because of that. Maybe just placebo effect or has the tracksurface changed too, not just the curbs?
(But no problem with seeing tracks due to vibrations and I have somewhat high view-movement set in options.)
Oh, yet different idea:
I googled this "Uncheckitprogram" mentioned in your hosts file. To me it looks like a malware-blocker that itself is malware. It is hard to even find the homepage of that program because all results are about "how to remove it."
The entries it added to hosts file seem okay but who knows what else it does. I'd get rid of that and possibly reinstall OS.
because the videos have non-demo content before having bought license and that makes modified game seem likely cause.
(wrong password would have given different message)
great, thanks.
after copying the file to server it instantly worked. (did not even need to do the ?force_load url thing)

also with this replay of a 24h race lots of things went wrong: http://abnl.racemore.de/mpres/league/DOP24h/1/R01/r/
It looks like only the starting drivers of a team are listed. (plus possibly first drivers after rejoin from garage)
zero.
random download errors are not a problem: In worst case the installer does not work and you wasted a bit time and have to re-download.
Problem would be a purposefully altered file (for ex: inserted virus) that with tricks could have the same md5 as the original. But imo as said: a very theoretical problem.
The problem is that the md5 hashes are not unique: Two files can in theory have the same md5. With some fiddling it is possible to purposely create two different files that have the same md5. See the entries on this blog: https://natmchugh.blogspot.de/2014/10/how-i-made-two-php-files-with-same-md5.html
For practical purposes it would be more difficult though.
imo it is more like wearing a seatbelt in a car with airbags BUT not wearing a helmet. Everybody can in theory think of a serious crash scenario where the helmet might give you extra protection, but in 99% of cases the seatbag and airbags are good enough. And in the 1% cases the helmet might not even matter.
