Hehe. A nice piece of engineering that engine. Kart engines having such tight maintenance schedules anyways the wankel doesn't suffer from excessive maintenance like it does in other applications.

From what I've heard, switching from 2-strokes to 4-stroke piston engines hasn't been that easy partly because of noise regulations, and that wankel engine sounded pretty quiet on that video. Maybe CIK should look at this and make an international class for them..

I'd like to have a go in one, albeit I haven't driven proper karts (if you count Yamaha KT100 as one) for so long (almost 10 years now). Although, while they're at it, why not build a bigger engine to shame a superkart

Anyways, I really can't see what infact is your idea. It seems to have something to do with different countries, and maybe some traveling, and LFS. Maybe present it a bit more clearly and we can comment more on if it sounds good or not

Compatible patches have been (and will be?) tested by the general public, and I'm guessing it's because Scawen can get feedback from a wider range of users with different PC specs, LFS configs etc right after he has changed the code. This can't be done with incompatible patches because of online community dividing into separate groups.

I haven't read this forum as much as I used to, mainly because of so much rubbish is being posted to be honest. And in wrong sections. "Sorry but I need to post this in Main forum because it needs the attention!" I wonder why the other sections exist at all..

I'm not calling out for strict moderating of the forums, just common sense when posting (and when common sense fails, moderators moving threads to correct addresses)..

If LFS ever gets an automatic warning / black flag system for driving behaviour, I'd think this would be a good sollution for a penalty between a stop&go and a kick/ban. But in the current state of the game I don't think something like this is needed.

It means LAN, local game. And, the license agreement also says:

3.4You must not give your username, WEB or GAME password to other LFS users.

Yes, that's the problem. Ideally, you'd need to have display element(s) right in front of your eyes covering your whole field of view for that thing to work more naturally.

I'm sure someone would be able to write a batch file to copy/rename stuff that'd allow you to pick between different textures and sounds etc.. IMO no need to build such a feature into LFS.

I agree with that being misleading. It's better just not to expect anything and you'll be surprised. If people keep typing huge amounts of wishes that they'd like to have in the next update, in rumors they'll be then verified as something that definitely is in the next patch - people will be disappointed.

It's unlikely for any rumors to be true, since people who test LFS can't give out information, and if devs announce something it's more than just a rumor

According to Aygo specs, it's height is 1465mm and judging by the pictures @ DoN's url I'd say the ball has a diameter of 1300-1350mm
