Check the MSO's for "Track Loaded" - if you don't receive that MSO - you know its not loaded - stick in another MST /track.

Isn't it already out of warranty?

It's not so much about the price of the car, or its worth.

Its to do with its danger level, and what the percentages are of the crashes in your age range with that car.

Remember, most insurance (lets face it, most our age can't afford fully comprehensive), only covers the cars/objects that you hit :P.

You'd need to get a server, which you can either run yourself if you have a good connection, or a server that you have access to. Or, you could rent one from a server provider, 500servers.com and storm-servers are two good ones, so i've heard.

You would then need to talk to them about running LFSLapper, as this would probably be the easiest way.

I know that LFSLapper can detect this & can output this into the public chat history, so I should imagine that it would be able to restrict such thing.

Only trouble is - you cannot tell the difference between a wheel & a gamepad.... as they are both "controllers" and that is the way that they are publically known.

However you can detect if they're using manual clutch & blip, and what gearing type that they are using.

If LFS Lapper does not permit this kind of usage, then I could create a small insim application that would do this for you.

You could always create a PHP file called LFSWParse.php (output from the required request called by javascript via a _GET variable :P, and then get the javascript to parse that.

Unsure, it seems to create an EOF on the connection... So, could be just dropping the connection.

I think I need to sort out LCS's autoreload system - it kinda reloads, but not quite :P

edit: I think thats that sorted - could do with a full server test, but meh - also made "renters" "safe" on the reload

LCS creates graph information about how large buffers are, and it does not go up anymore than 3% while thats going on - so I doubt it

Yeah it is - maybe its cause it requires more TCP information to obtain the cars positions.

I was unable to crash it *shrugs* perhaps it was when the server has having a good day

Tried with two on a server with about 14 people on earlier.

Will try with a full server later on tonight .

I beleive this exploit was used against the LTC servers earlier this morning.

I do have a username of who caused it.

I will get the LTC gang to test our for it tonight - and will post my findings!

Okay, if thats the way that you put it. Then motor racing sports are also using vehicles in a way that was not intended.

At the end of the day, they were created as a means of transportation, and moving goods. Why race those?

Just because something is being used in a way that it was not intended for does not mean thta it is wrong, nor is it something that should not be commended .
