I have a similar problem. After long stints of leaving my G25 pluged in, it will randomly calibrate off center when I start up my computer.

The easy fix for me was to just unplug and replug the wheel. It will then recalibrate at the propper center.

Also, the wheel, I assume, resets and i have to turn the wheel to max lock to reclibrate the wheel manually. As others have said leave the axis set to unlock.

I'd perfer to rebuy my old games on the PSN. Most of my old ps games are all scrached up from poor storage abilities of a 13 year old me.

As for the planed obsolescence; my Blu-Ray drive craped out on me while playing demon soul's and wont play any PS3 games any more. But it still playes GT4 just fine. This failure reminds me of the old PS2. Just like the big PS3, the big ps2 failed just as the ps2 slim came out. My ps3 died in a similar way as well. The drives just will not buffer from the CD.

Hopefully GT5's install doenst require any buffering from the CD so I don't have to get a new one.

To follow the true LFS tradition for new members, you have to go straight online into the most full servers and crash everyone in the first turn. Then eventually get banned from that server and repeat until you are banned from all decently populated servers. After going through this phase, you will undoubtedly require another S2 account in order to play online again.

Thankfully, for me, I made the mistake of completing all of the training lessons at the pro level at least twice before racing online.

Has anyone noticed the facepalm picure in the credits? I have seen the credits screen countless times and this is the first time I have noticed it? I can't prove subliminal messaging works, but if it does that picture can't be good for the mental state towards the game just after closing. After noticing it, all I can think of is Live for Speed... *facepalm*

What are the community's thoughts on this?

Being a beginner while also not knowing any better doesn't make it alright to bump or ram or just plain crash.

codyflick929's comment makes racing on public LFS servers seem as though all crashes are done purposefully; however that is not the case. I like to 'trade paint' as much as the next guy, but you have to know we are all racing over finicky internet connections. Also LFS packets are received 3-6/sec. These factors have to be kept in mind when racing, and there is no excuse for disregarding them.



Let's disregard cost. iRacing has a much better environment for pickup races. Their system makes sure everyone allowed in a race is up-to-par when it comes to driving safely. However, iRacing achieves this by allowing few methods by which to move up the ranks. This makes experienced drivers that are new to iRacing have to spend a lot of time catching up to their abilities.

In comparison to iRacing, LFS allows everyone to do as we please: from racing GTR type cars, to crashing into people for lulz. This freedom allows us to form communities, host servers, black-list wreckers, and et cetera. The key point being freedom in what we choose to do with our online racing experience.



We all can make decisions for ourselves, and your decisions should only apply to yourself. Having said all that I guess we can all go on doing as we please, but be forewarned: if what you choose is pestering people, then the community will decide what to do with you.
