I dont know how badly the car was setup... I mean Alex Lloyd (her teammate) has an almost decent (but unreliable) car. Considering that they are from the same team I'd say that Milka does have a lot of support. I mean Lloyd finished 4th in the Indy 500 when Milka flat out failed to qualify. That says something really....

I also hate the fact that Robert Doornbos was kicked from Indy when this is Milka's third season.....She apparently has CITGO on a leash...

Thanks amp88, glad to see that iRacing has got V8 Supercars right But I'm also assuming that because of Project Blueprint...there isn't much of a difference between the Ford and Holden? i.e. a Holden Commodore in iRacing wouldnt handle differently than the Ford Falcon they have right now?

I did a few laps with it on leguna seca. The car feels very responsive and really rewards the smooth driver. I've noticed that it is a bit wheel spin happy tho as it gets loose on the s/f bend.

Idk if that's normal for a touring car but the v8 supers are top tier cars (atleast in tc categories)

Could also be my set too (or lack thereof). I'm driving with defaults

Decided to buy a year after about a few months of waiting. I always seem to drive much better and safer in iRacing where as I'm a complete sato at LFS. :/. Going to see if I can reach A asap and try out some new cars that I bought but didn't get a chance to use due to my trial running out

I'm excited about the v8 supercar. What do you guys think of it?

Did anyone watch the Croft race? I'm not sure what to think of Sheddon giving Collard "half a car" and pushing him on the grass. That definitely made a difference on Collard's momentum.....

Keselowski But yeah, Brad's a punk. Not only that, he's also an idiot. Which is a fairly dangerous combination. I also loved how he tried to make up for a bad car by smashing into people. He completely clobbered into Robbie Gordon which I found hilarious and he gave Ekstrom no room when Ekstrom gave him plenty.

Atleast Ekstrom's contact didnt completely destroy his car unlike when Montoya took out Logano.

Mark Martin ended up 14th despite having a sub-par car as it would appear. Something is wrong with that group, but he still gained a position in championship points to move him off of the bubble.

Jan wasn't as strong as Ekstrom, Said or Ambrose. But he certainly kept his head together despite cars going three wide and slamming into each other. Even if Jan was no where in the top 10, he ran a solid and impressive race nonetheless imho.

Very happy with my own result. Gave my two ER teammates a heart attack as I decided to throw away my P8 to see if I can jump a row or two. Everything that went wrong for the first 2 attempts did. Went slower on my first attempt and dropped to 13th. Second attempt....timed out on the second lap. Final attempt...it's go or go home from here....went fastest and into P5.

Yeah well Ekstrom has said that the NASCAR CoT is a very wheel spin happy machine. I mean it's going to be rough coming from DTM as DTM has so much more downforce than the stock car due to the millions of wings. Plus (according to Ekstrom) you can be very aggressive with the throttle in the DTM car, and NASCAR fans know that this isn't the case at all with the stock cars.

This also makes DTM much more fragile of a car. (and thus the series is much less prone to contact). So yeah, your speculation on Ekstrom's situation is fairly correct. However, if Ekstrom had come from WTCC or especially BTCC and V8 Supercar, then hard contact/rubbing wouldn't be so alien

The minute I posted my protest havoc immediately ranted angrily at me on MSN. Claiming that I "had no right to post a protest" among other personal attacks.

Hey, know what? From my perspective it looked like I could have made it when havoc didnt move down until close to the kink. I thought I could make it and grab the 51's draft before havoc and continue my leapfrogging. It didnt happen. Could I have been more patient? Sure, yes. I could have. But I was there with a new set and I wanted to push as hard as I could to see how well my car can drive in traffic (if it will get loose, if it will lose the draft easily, etc). I was there to test the absolute limits of my set (or how well i could drive it). There are many times where I did left off too, but I wanted to get to the front of the pack asap because track position is important with this new restart system (cause i suck at stick with people with this new restart system. Every single restart I had been in I always lost the cars in front of me). I made a small error in judgment. I'm sorry...jez.

I calmly tried to explain my situation to havoc on msn, and he started using FM as an example of how much of a lowly racer that I am and how the incident with mk1 was then inherently my fault.

Hey...know what? People have made it through with less space in that kink. I often times found other people diving on the inside of me as well. I thought the cars in front would have given more space. But they didnt. If deko and the admins would see that I'm at fault. Sure fine. I'll take the responsibility. But havoc's response on MSN was uncalled for.

Again, the message wasnt directed at mk or FM in general. More for havoc (and this was before deko decided that I was more at fault than havoc.)

Why would the slicks mod be illegal? I mean, if it doesnt have license protection then it still wouldnt be that big of a deal? It wont make any S1 or S2 cars available to demo users.

If you want to create this elitist atmosphere on the oval then you can bet on the fact that people hold you to the same strict standard that you set for everyone else.
