and wr sets do exploit bugs like locked diff and ultra stiff front ARB. I always try to search for sets who don't have those exploits so I know for sure the set is predictable and fast.

What do you mean by that? Could you give an example of good and bad brakes?

I did some setup testing earlier this week for the uxrl league, but a softer compound and higher pressure is the way to go.
But, personally I like a harder compound because races are unpredictable and I tend to burn up my front tires when fighting with someone (my throttle control goes back to n00b level then).
Another reason why I prefer r3's is because the temps stay stable over a race, so i don't have to struggle with a changing car balance during the race.

Good racing, but 1 advice. You should shift with less force. In every race technique book they'll tell you that shifting shouldn't be forced but just smooth and not rushed.
It's also good to see you keep your hands on the wheel as much as possible, I see a lot of dumbasses on youtube who keep their hand on the shifter which basically half's your steering abililty.

So basically nice technique you got, but you need to work on your shifting a bit.

Are you sure that your LFS key presets are default?

Can you also just run the program in notepad, and press ALT to start? If everything is correct you should see a string of characters.

Good looking video, I especially like the track because of the bumps (1 thing I really miss in LFS).

Maybe it gets implemented in the next incompatible patch, or at least, I hope it will.

Montoya did quite some good racing in mexico city, it was nice how he slided through the field. But I just don't understand why he chose so much risk for an overtaking manuever while there were still 8 laps to go iirc.
So even though im kinda a montoya fan, I do think it was a dirty and stupid move.

I usually drive with names off and shift-F, unless I race on a messy public server and need to "dodge" certain people.

Meh thats what I get for not being experienced with a Steering wheel I got for $50 at a Comp USA lol.

If you use maximum traction for your braking you cannot use the tire for steering. If you want to read more on that, search for traction circles.

adding compression wouldn't have a good effect on the lag because extra cpu time will be needed, which could even make the lag worse. You can also disable downloading of skins.
