Air Attack is still active, and we have an invitational GTi race series running right now, although license requirements change from week to week. This Thursday's race is at Aston, so you would need to have an S2 license for this round...

You're not new, and you should definitely know better by now. Any demo player posting about use of licensed content is going to draw heat...
There is really only one reason you wouldn't bother to recover a lost password, because it's very easy to do, and that is because you have been previously banned...
The Air Attack Racing Team is looking for a few drivers to fill the extra grid positions available in our next team invitational race.

I had a problem similar to this when, for some unknown reason, my wheel's drivers thought my G27 was a Driving Force. Same thing with the combined throttle/brake. I had to deinstall and reinstall the drivers for it, but it did fix the problem in the end.
Not sure if this'll help - I've never heard of Drift Oz, so not sure what their driver support is like...
I don't think you'll ever see the old Westhill again, in the same way that they don't race on the old Spa circuit or original Circuit de la Sarthe configuration. They simply aren't relevant any longer, and the world has moved on.
You must use the username that you used when you first installed LFS. You can change your racing name in-game, but your username will always be the same.

The thing about subtlety is that you don't need to notice it for it to work.
It might be that I'm missing the thread you are talking about - I didn't know there was a way to share the Shift-A settings... I thought the sounds being shared were completely new samples taken from sound recordings. If I'm wrong it won't be the first time.
In the spirit of LFS, a non-marque LM sportscar class would be cool - especially if there was a couple of different body kits that could fit on the same chassis for variety...
That's not what we're talking about here. Shift-A allows for the volume adjustment of certain sounds within the orchestra that is your engine sound. Things like gear whine, air intake suction, turbo pressure changes, etc.
There are always subtle differences in the way cars sound, even in single-make racing. Everything from a mechanic's personal approach to tuning, to wear-and-tear on parts. It's these subtleties that we want to be able to vary among cars in the same grid to lessen the "flanger" effect (sound engineering term for when two identical sounds drift in and out of sync, producing harmonic interference).
But if you still had the gear whine, it would sound like an electric vehicle...
I think switching off the engine sound goes a bit far... I like to be able to hear what the engine and gears and all the other aural cues are telling me. I believe switching them all off would affect your own driving more than others.
And as Skytrill said, a good option would be a default audio switch, maybe added to the connections list and/or in the menu if you prefer the permanent solution.
I suggested this a while back - I still think it would add a lot to the atmosphere and make the game sound a bit less drone-y... even if people did make daft noise setups.
But an option to switch them back to default would sort that nicely - that's a really good idea
