Very very nice video



but i would have cut the scene with BF1 at south city T1, the camera movements are too much fast here.

However, like sinbad said, if they say that to you before the race, you can agree or simply change server. It's their server

Ok, there are lot of more things that can be considered more important of this, but i really would like to see .xxx measurements on split and lap times implemented.

P.S: i just forget to say that some of the most fun and exciting races that i have done in lfs were in servers with very low number of people with 1 or more wr holders on it, and none of us crashed on others at T1. On the opposite, all raced very clean, so really i dont see your point on this argument.

I agree with the fact that pause should invalidate the single lap that it is running in the moment the game has been paused, but absolutely disagree about the uselessness of hotlaps.

Imho are very usefull, i have pratically learned the racing tecniques watching hotlaps, and LFS is the only simulator that allowed me to improve in that way.

In other communities, like GTR2 or rfactor ones, all replays and setups are kept like secrets, and it's really hard to improve without having some visual example.

Another usefull things hotlaps do is saying you a very good time to which refers for knowing how much are you going fast.

Knowing WR time in a certain track allow you to understand if you are running around the track only sufficiently well (within 1,5 sec from wr), good (within 1 sec) or very good (within 0.5 sec).

Pratically i started with STCC the same period u started, just some days after (because of 4 months of stops caused by broken PC ) and i would like to see other classes too
Im still gold (5 days needed for getting it ) but i hope to have soon the time for completing platinum license.



Just a bit O.T: the best stcc tv coverage was round 5 one. Round 6 was a bit worst then 5; Becky, try to keep on round 5 quality standards, it was a stellar video

For about 2/3 weeks there is finally a new site for the Italian LFS Championship ( www.cilfs.org ), and we would like to add a banner to that LFS community like the ones that are on the upper right side of the forum.

How to add a banner there?

It's an interesting idea but i hope that you will use "elasticized" type of shirts.
I have seen lot of times shirts from games and seemed quite all a bit too much nerdy because stayed too wide on people wearing these.

It have to be cool if you want them to be used, imho.


P.S: i know that you now are making plain simple shirts, but imho shirt that would be very nice should be based (and designed on the entire surface) from some of these nice LFS race screenshots edited on photoshop like the one in the forum section, the ones that capture better the idea of speed

I know (and other games like GTR or rfactor show that thing too) that on racing cars, dampers can be modified with different settings for fast and slow bumps and rebounds, and with packers too.

These things seems missing onto lfs.
Why don't add them?

However is strange the fact that he did a roll on himself.

He touched the curb and that made the car starting the roll or is possible on regular tarmac to during a 180 slide to do something like that?

Apart from the long list of stuff we DO have over other sims, the most appealing bit is the repeating YETs. It's an ongoing thing (a WIP), and that's what REALLY appeals to me. Rfactor might get a patch of 'fixes' every 6 months. GTR has no support whatsoever. nK's patches are next to useless (although they have a similar list of stuff to do, starting with 'Make it Work in the first place').

No, LFS isn't hands down the best sim. But it is the best overall, and is going to get better.

And yes, almost cars are not real, but are ispirated by real cars, and because nascar cars are real one, an ispirated car to these is a realistic possibility
