You could at least state your timezone maybe?

Do you expect everyone's 7 and 12pm is the same as yours?

Very bold statement, though so not true.

Wow, just thinking of being rewarded with a real car by winning in a racing game already made me pretty damn shocked...
And it's not a normal car too, it's a BMW M6... my god..... A real real real lucky man he is!!! DAMN!!

Quote from bhs :One day I will understand the need for "drift" setups. When I drift I use my regular racing sets. If you need to make the rear end of your car crippled to drift it you need to learn how to actually drift rather than just power oversteer.

Regular set works fine in drifting, any road vehicles in LFS can be drifted as long as its rear wheel driven.
But sometimes a proper set that's purposely built for drifting does make a big difference than your usual oversteer slides. It doesn't make you a super drifter immediately, but it does allow/help you to perform bigger, longer and more spectacular drifts easier, in turn you also have more control of the drift angles and etc.
In racing, top racers have their own proper built race sets that helped them win races, yeah they can race with default setups, but it'll be slower. The same goes to drifting, hence there are "drift" setups as well.

I had the same problem with my old Logitech Wingman which I later broke the pedal in half.
Then I switched to Logitech Momo Racing (Black) and it too had the same problem, done many ways to solve the problem, such as cleaning the pots, recalibration, use DXTweak (is that what its called?) as well as glueing the pots so it doesn't move around. All these solved the problem TEMPORARY, as the spiking pedals soon came back in 1-2 months, frustrating yes.
Conclusion is, with the way those pedals are designed/built, this pedal spiking issue is inavoidable, some people don't have it simply because they're lucky.
I'm just glad I got a G25, now that's some quality pedals which I can stomp hard on!

CriticalDrift, seems like you're just an attention seeker, drifting does not make you cooler or more elite, and not everyone would enjoy cars sliding around like drunk drivers, so you need to understand that.

Again, who would care if many people would visit a 'drifting board' anyways? My point is, if you really enjoyed and loved drifting, getting in touch with just a few other true drift enthusiasts is more than enough to make one happy. If you're one of those guys that just got into drifting (in LFS) hunger for attention/fame, well, I can assure you that we won't be seeing you after some time, cause by then you'll be just like everyone else "oh hey, drifting is boring, lfs a boring game, I'm going to do some other cooler stuff" ... they simply come and go, sometimes even making a fool of themselves during the process.

Speaking of which, if you're really interested in LFS drifting, you oughta give www.lfs-torque.net a visit, it's where most drifters hang out, I'm sure you'll feel more at home there. All you need is to meet up with the right group of people, simple.

Ahmad, as long as you performed the purchase at the main site: www.liveforspeed.net , it is safe and there's no extra charges.

I've done mine 3 years back using my mom's credit card as well, I'm from Malaysia btw.

CriticalDrift, making a "drift" related post here is pointless and gets you no where, I suggest you either shut up, give up, or join www.lfs-torque.net

Quote from Boris Lozac :Ok, i said it wrong. I meant it looks like cars are really there, kinda real, not artifical like other games. I am not saying that car models are photo realistic, but the whole enviroment, the materials of the cars, that is real, although they are made of very small amount of poligons and details, it still looks real when the car is moving in LFS...

I strongly agree, LFS may not be as good "looking" compared to the recent games, but when it is in motion, it just feels so right and natural, add that up with the great physics, damn is LFS awesome!

But hey, in time LFS will need to look better of course, time really flies, but I can wait.

Now this is a huge SURPRISE!!
Suprising in a way to see that our team is presented in the video in such a unique and cool manner, but it also shows what we do best, although we weren't told of this, but we're flattered anyways lol!

This movie looks like it would have more coming (judging from the intro at beginning), will there be videos like this on other cars as well?

Quote from ScorpioGT :just to customize a bit the exterior look of our ride, just a little more creativity

As long as LFS stays true to what it is (as always), I don't see the bad side of having this "feature" included, IMO anything 'extra' is always good.

Gloves are to protect my fingers, almost injured at several occasions, no joke.

Quote from kaynd :It could be a better if there was less blur or better focus and a mix with the game sounds directly from the sound card.

Quote from Sketchyrollin564 :TYou are NOT allowed to pass.

That's just a rule defined by the 'Touge'/Mountain pass racers due to the fact that any attempts in overtaking at such hazardous roads are considered too dangerous.

If a mountain course is added in LFS, I don't see why we can't attempt to overtake if the opportunity is there, afterall, you don't die if you fail in a PC game.

Quote from Blowtus :20 cars, reverse grid, all aiming at the same first corner - and realistic contact between cars should be low on the list? It's not simply about major collisions, it's a big problem with any form of contact.

I don't see much fault in the current collision in LFS, it's the lag that causes the 'weird' happenings.

If you're racing with a group of mates who stays real close to you, you'd be surprised at how close the racing can get without cars flying. You can rub, slightly push, lil bumps, its all fine.

G25 is the best there is out there (H shifter, Clutch, 900 deg steering) with the most "reasonable" price.
