hmm if you manage to tune all your graphical settings in game to the max, your LFS should look pretty close to the screenshots you see in the main site already.

not 'half as pretty', maybe a bit over exaggerated?

Quote from Scawen :And yes there was a disadvantage with having the credits, because Victor often got messages in his technical support email, by users asking if they could use their credits to upgrade their car with neon lights, etc.

Anyway, is Saiko^D still alive?

the leader of the team was inactive for the past few weeks, but all members in team are still doing fine and the leader is back on track again.

Quote from JJ72 :lol, and 99% of that 0.01% are on cracked LFS.

And believe it or not, there're more hong kong LFS registry than in the whole China.

I visit chinaspeed once in a while, the community there are nice and friendly, but yah like what you've mentioned, 99.9% of the players there are playing cracked versions of LFS, which is kinda sad. They can afford DFPs, but they don't buy the licensed game, which confuses me.

Imagine if all those players (the community is HUGE) buy the real license, Scavier would be WHOLE LOT RICHER

I have a bunch of Malaysian friends that are into LFS as well, after some introduction and guide to the game they all seem to love it, but most of them are demo users, and some of them are using cracked versions too (I have no idea how they find it, but honestly I don't know where to find the crack for LFS as well).

I've tried many many ways to convince them how good S2 is and you can be a part of the online virtual racing community and blar blar, but its no good, though some players do seem to be interested in getting themselves licensed soon.

I dislike the fact that some players uses the cracked version, and still talked about the game so freely as if he really "owns" the game (in fact he's just using a crack), pisses me off.

Any useful/interesting tips for convincing your friends into getting the License and leaving the crack once and for all?

here in Malaysia we've been taught that English is very important during our education days, that is why most Malaysians are pretty good in english (since early age). I'm glad that I can type, write and spell properly in english, though I should work more on my accent and pronounciation as it needs a little bit more work hehe...

oh wait, what's this thread about?

Quote from AndroidXP :*sigh*

If you just give the tyres "more grip" then three things will happen:

1) unrealistically high cornering forces
2) the same faulty tail happy behaviour just at a higher speed/cornering force
3) the same low speed grip issues, when comparing to the available grip at higher paces

Giving "more grip" solves nothing.

yes I understand, I'm just trying to explain all of it in a much much more simpler way that's all, the word "more grip" in my previous post simply refers to the fix/improvement of the current tire bug lfs has. Like I said, I trust the devs, which means I know they won't simply just add some numbers just to raise the "grip level", I also understand pretty much on what the current problem with LFS is and what is required to make it better (since so many threads regarding this has been posted over and over, and I've read them all )

I'm not really good at English, sorry for the confusion, hehe.

nice video and heel-toe'ing Matrixi.

If only my momo racing pedals don't suck so much, I'd love to try that as well.

oh back on topic, I prefer manual clutching as well, used to have my Wingman throttle pedal as my clutch, but unfortunately I've broken it in half, no more clutch pedal for me

well with all those technical talks on LFS tire physics for the past few months, I'll just agree with Hiwer here, its just that simple, with a little more grip, and LFS would be awesome (more). :P

like many of you guys here, I trust the LFS developers 100% and I'm really looking forward for the new patch, rest assured Hiwer, I'm sure your concern regarding the grip issue would be improved a lot in the next patch.
