Dunno if I told you, but if I DID come to your town to meet with you, you wouldn't be the first girl I went to the US for... In fact, I'm fixin' to go see her this summer... How far from New Orleans are ya?
As for Annabelle... She wasn't the fastest woman on S1, but there was something about her that made it impossible for me to pass her. Speaking of passing women... How about you and me actually compete in a race sometime. I've seen you on the servers, but never actually raced you. It's about time, dunya think?
And what if I don't like the Christian way of thinking, nor the International Standardization Organisation? From this day forth, the thursday shall be the start of the week for all things LFS!
I don't know why Saturday was dropped...
I do know that a lot of christian holidays were set to pagan days of feasting to make it easier for them to adopt to the new christian religion.
Christmas being the biggest, was set to the days of the pagan midwinter soltice.
Excuse me, but why does every post of a poll or a review that includes LFS have to end in a discussion between us LFS fans and the authors/creators of the piece in these forums?
It's nice of y'all to point them to our forums, and I like more people knowing we exist as a community... But don't you think there are better ways to do that?
En wie die Chatman in z'n avatar gezet heeft moet levenslang opgesloten worden in een isoleercel... Mafkees
Saturday and Sunday is WeekEND... End of the week, as in "not the week anymore"... So there's only 5 days in the week:
monday - montag
tuesday - dienstag
wednesday - mittwoch <-- middle of the week
thursday - donnerstag
friday - freitag
To all dutch peeps that said they've always learned sunday was the start of the week... What kind of elementary school did you go to?
Katholiek, Protestants Christelijk, Gereformeerd, of openbaar?
Why can't you adjust the ignition timing? There is a manual way of doing it.
You should not hit the rev limiter... Reprogram that thing And flames coming out of the exhaust is bad for 2 reasons... 1) it'll burn your cat if you have one (prolly not), and 2) it's incomplete combustion, and could cause the lambda to literally fry.
That Lambda is doing the illepall thing, yes...
But ehmmm... If the next one going in would be #4, I'd be looking at why it fries them. Lambda's aren't cheap if you go through them like six-packs on the weekends. U not using NOS are you?
Hmmm... It seems there are some hold'em players where you least expect them. Thought I would be the only one on here, apart from the Americans.
I'm hooked to the game... Not the playing for money part.
As for it being illegal... I think 5 card draw is illegal here, because it's classified as a chance game. I think Hold'em is classified as a skill game. But I don't really care
Well... I can't link to what else I like spending a lot of time on, since I think it would be illegal in a lot of countries, nor would it be appreciated by the people running this website if I got you lot hooked on stuff that costs money...
I can tell you though...
Texas Hold'em Poker is my favorite passtime activity at the moment.
It seems like a game of luck, but actually when you dive into it you'll find out it takes a lot of skill to play it to the point it can make you money.
When at first you don't succeed... Try, and try again... (and remember skydiving is not for you).
My guess is that they're not different, but then... I haven't even begun to check anything in game.
Ah... I see your problem... Yeah, that's going to be a tough one... But the info should be there, and it should be deductable. Even if the result is a bit funky in car behaviour.
Maybe Scawen can shed some light on this subject. Or a good search of the forums may help.
Just remember that this is the first thing I'm trying to do with games since good old SCGT... So I'm relearning Delphi as I go along.
Alright... Time to get the old Delphi out of the closet... That is of course unless anybody has any real objections about being able to race wr replays in your car?
Ditch IE, get Firefox, download MS AntiSpyware, and A good 3rd party Spyware scanner, and have them scan your PC...
Next, disable the frikkin new XP Windows Update tool if you have it (great tool if it wouldn't suck so bad), and possibly run NAI Stinger tool to be sure.
It sounds like a window gets focus for a millisecond and disappears again (probably leaving a service running).
Also, if you have fast user switching turned on in XP, turn it off... It's useless for 99% of the people and causes problems with some services.
And the games you mentioned are supported by a series, and manufacturers have nothing to say in their creation... Except for few.
EAs NFS series has gone without damage for a long time, simply because the manufacturers didn't allow it...
I'm pretty sure it's the other way around... No damage system in the game to get a car in it people would want to drive goes a long way with current day publishers.
I'd probably gone through my various Texas Hold'em Poker books a lot quicker, and be well on my way to becoming a millionaire through that game...
Can we sue the devs for likely sustained financial disadvantages due to LFS addiction?
Actually it's only a problem when it's NOT a hardware feature, but done entirely in software...
Yes, you prolly should create a thread like that... Difference between this one and your thread would be you'd see/hear no difference in LFS when you disable EAX support, except in framerates. FSAA is eyecandy and you can see the difference immediately.
Is it hardware related? I can see why you'd say it's not entirely LFS related, but it's not hardware related either... It's a configuration issue... Sooooo, we need a Configuration subforum, Vic.
Thread was created, info was released, comments were made... Move on, peeps.
In oval racing losing a lap is deadly, because once a caution is out you lose about 2 minutes... So you may fight for your lap back.
Passing on the right is part of racing... Dangerous or not, it is part of racing. Someone blocks the inside, I'm sure as hell not going to lift and let him stay ahead of me, but I'm going to slingshot passed him on the outside.
The general rule for oval racing is very simple... If you're not sure you're clear... Hold your line.
I didn't say no rules, btw... Just these rules defy the entire point of oval racing and degrade it to a series of fast laps by two people who know how to draft. Maybe that's why I hate IRL, and love NASCAR so much.
I love racing the oval... There's usually about 5 or 6 potential winners racing there, and the occasional wrecker, and the rest are mediocre or noob oval racers. The only thing I do not like about the way people race the oval here is the stupid rules they like adhering to... Like not passing on the right, or not drafting the leader (when lapped). Oval racing is ALL about passing on the right and drafting the leader (or have the leader draft you)... Oval racing is about making friends in the race. Usually I have about 2 or 3 guys picked out from the pack whom I'll be really friendly with. And usually they return the favor when the time's right. Helping them get a lead when they're in front and I'm a lap down is part of being friendly.
In REAL Oval racing this is common practice, and since this is a sim...
