If you like that sort of thing, yes. If not, then no you probably shouldn't get it.

More alignment work on the tails. The outer edge where it wraps around to the side is difficult because the dds file replicates itself for a small section. If you change either/or to make it line up, the other piece moves too....

Thanks again to Zach for posting those type r skins. I grabbed the badges off the side and repositioned them a little.

Does anyone know where to edit the dds file to get something to show up in the empty spaces on the outside front of the bumper? I wanted to put some OEM fogs in there, but ended up just putting the projectors on the pillars. They're supposed to go further out in the gray area (see pic)

I just looked at it in game for the first time and yes, they do work. Sort of. The tails actually look almost perfect. They only light up right where the real ones do and look sharp. The headlights are a different story. The reflection on the clear cover for the headlights almost completely hides the new integra lights. Here's what I learned: when you turn the headlights on (or press flash if you will) that clear cover (or maybe just it's reflection) just disappears, making it look like the lights get brighter. The cover is shaded, making the dds file look darker when the "lights" are off. Maybe that's common knowledge... So basically to see the integra lights you would have to use a script to keep the lights "on".

Here's what I mean:

Tails coming along.... sort of. They still need some major adjustment with alignment and color blending between the skin and the dds file.

Quote from stephen_sunfire :how did you mod the head lights like black them out i tryed it out but it dont work

The background color of the headlight has to be changed in the dds file to match the color of the car skin, hence the plain black car to start.

Getting better...

I ran a telemarketing sales floor when I was 22 or so (and almost lost my soul in the process) so here's how I deal with them now....

The most effective way to stop telemarketing is to request that they put your name/number on their do not call list. Legally, in the states anyway, they have to. Any further calls from the same company would allow you to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General and put said company at risk of getting some pretty serious fines.

Being polite actually yields much better results than trying to annoy them back, as well. These people have heard "**** off and **** you" and been screwed with all day long, so they actually take notice when someone politely declines. They may even try to ensure you don't ever get called back.

With that being said, if you really want to ruin their day, keep them on the line as long as you can and pretend you're interested. Change your mind right before you commit to what they're selling. In the 20 minutes they spent trying to convince you, they could have had 3 other people signed up.

One last thought. Most of the call centers are completely dependent on automatic dialing machines. If a telemarketer calls you and hears your answering machine, they hang up and mark the call as "answering machine." The system will usually call you back again later in the day, and will continue to do so until your phone number is (by the caller) marked as something different. Marking a call as "disconnected number," for example, will tell the auto-dialer not to try that number again. Annoy the crap out of a telemarketer and rest assured, you're getting marked as "answering machine" and someone else in the building will call you right back.

This is one of the best I've heard, I think it was actually posted here some time ago:

Stiffer rear springs, stiffer rear sway bar, higher psi in rear tires, less camber in rear tires, heavier foot on the gas.... just some of things that will induce oversteer.

What was it that Senna once said about creating new limits for yourself?

"With your mind power, determination, and instinct as well, you can fly very high."

That's not to say that just anybody could fly as high as he did driving an F1 car, but applying that advice to the thing you love most in your life will certainly let you achieve a level of success you are sure to be happy with. As for being as quick as him, no, I think no matter how hard most people try they will never reach that level....

I'm normally not one for trying to make LFS cars look like ones from real life, but I figured since I have an Integra I might as well fiddle around in photoshop and see how it turns out...

That's tough to narrow down. We're talking about the band who did it all and did it all first. Everything changed after 1964.

As of late it's been:

Quote from The Moose :I see nothing on that site that makes me think they really believe FE theory at all.

It's clearly a joke.

The FAQ is hilarious

It really does seem like they're doing it just to drive people crazy.

I mean c'mon, that FAQ is just the most absurd thing I've ever read....

I don't think flying birds are on the top of anyone's list for a racing simulator... Shall we animate the drunken fans trackside as well? Perhaps give them some cowbells to ring and have a deer or two wander out on the track from time to time...

Quote from Tweaker :Because I guarantee you that when a majority of people listen to them, they do NOT like them for what they are talking about... only for how they sound.

I understand now what you meant about "genre for stupidity", but can't necessarily agree. It's the people themselves that one could consider stupid for not listening to the message, not the genre. Take the Beatles... arguably one of the most influencial bands of all time, one with a definite message. However many people, having never taken a whole bunch of acid and really listened to Sgt. Peppers, simply like the catchy melodies, etc... Would you say the Beatles fit into a genre for stupidity? There will always be stupid people, and they will always listen to music. To classify the music they listen to because of their intelligence level... doesn't make sense to me.

Quote from Tweaker :System of a Down is a genre for stupidity that doesn't sound like music at all.

When you say "genre for stupidity," what exactly do you mean? It seems to me that addressing issues like social injustice and political corruption is about as far away from stupidity as a band can get. Perhaps you didn't understand the message....

That being said... no, I wouldn't consider System of a Down to be pop. More like hard-rock with an interesting Armenian pan-flute philosophy twist. Somebody like Deicide, or Cannibal Corpse, or even Slayer... now that's metal.

Pop is more along the lines of Britney Spears and Micheal Jackson type stuff over here, although it has snuck its way into punk and made a blood thirtsy 13-year-old girl eating monster out of it...

While we're sort-of on the subject, I'm not as crazy about the new Serj Tankian album as I was about the first one with the band. Steal This Album was excellent as well....

Quote from Dajmin :How? Will it magically jump off the conveyor belt?

No, it will travel a specified distance down the conveyor belt, and when the engine(s) produces enough thrust to generate the airpseed needed to create lift, the plane will rotate.
