Please tell me why anyone would want a 12 hour clock only when the day has 24 hours? IMO this 12 hour system is only causing confusion, and even more so since most of us try to keep track of different timezones when organizing events that span over multiple countries.
I got it set to 240 and compensaton to 1.00.
And since all the cars in LFS has more loch than my physical 240 degrees it's going to as you described above, yes. That's why I have turned off the graphical wheel and hands, cause they just get confusing after a little while. Wish I could have full on 1 to 1 all the 240 degrees
And yes, it's a logitech
Yeah I know. And in just about every series or leage or pick up race, there are going to be drivers that are slower and drivers that are faster. If enough people are on the same server, the over all racing will be awesome, I'm sure
But It's plain wrong to punish someone for just being fast. If he/she is fast AND a winner, well then we punish them
Let's not make it complicated, please. Let's stick by simple rules, like those above. And... the only races that "count" is the first two after qualifying. After that, it's just for plain laughs.
And let's not spam the server with chat messages while racing
Ok, we're on in about an hour.
After a bit of testing without the slickmod, I think the above posters where right, 4 is too much. So we're going to go with:
1:st and 2:nd place = 2 passengers.
3:rd and 4:th place = 1 passenger.
Still doesn't do exactly what I was looking for, sorry
I was looking for a function that locks the virtual wheel to the same ammount of rotation as my desktop wheel. 240 degrees from lock to lock.
hmm.. I find "wheel turn" and "wheel turn compensation", none which do exactly that what I was looking for. The vitual wheel still turns a lot more in the end.
Where is this option "Wheel Rotation" hidden, cause I've been trough the menues a lot
I'm setting this up for testing tonight, just for fun. Server will be up and online at 22:00 CET which means something like 4pm Eastern US time.
Remember, it's just for fun
I'll select the first track: Blackwood GP
Server name will be: SCORE:TCC
Suggestion:
My wheel (my physical, on the desk wheel) can turn max 240 degrees from lock to lock. I'd like an option to set the corresponding (spelling) ammount of visible turn of the graphical wheel in the car (I hope this explanation makes sence).
It's not a high priority request, just a suggestion, and I'm sorry if it's allready possible and I've missed it :duck:
And here they are. After 10 races this season, the standings for the European division have been counted together.
I'd like to thank B11TME and [ITEK] for hosting the races and I would like to especially mention how much I appreciate drivers who show up for the races. Four of the drivers was there for EVERY single race and deserve an extra mention in the series. They are:
B11TME
Bo Kristiansen
Powerslave
Pedro Silva
--- Edit ---
Also the Norht American results are now counted together. I'd like to congratulate P.Laan to the over all victory in the series.
Totally agree. A blue flag only means don't fight for position, and please leave a little room. Usually taking a slightly wider line in the next turn will do the trick. Those who demand that the slower people move over right away don't know how proper racing is done.
Yes, but at least then they will not have too much confindence in themselfs right? Might even be a fairly clean and a bit slow race? Laptimes will tell I guess, hehe
By request (and common sence) the last race for the North American division in the FakeDTM series will be postponed on full day. It's 4:th of July, and I don't wanna have to explain to the trackmarshals why a bunch of drunk people try to race, when they really should be lying down
So... European division will go as usual and the North American division will go one day later than usual. Questions? No? Good!
They are most welcome. In fact, anyone is welcome, regardless of where they live. It's called North American division because it's mostly North Americans that drive on a time fit for that particular timezone.
Heck, I've got an Aussie fellow who set's his alarm clock to 5am so he can get up and race Nascar Heat mods on SCORE with the rest of us.
I know it's much, but it's the only thing that'll keep the speed deamons at bay
Serioulsy though. I did some testing, and with the slickmod active, it doesn't effect you that much in those cars. But I guess we could go for less passenger weight until we can use the slickmod properly
I was thinking about setting up a little relaxed event on Thursdays with the TBO class cars, but I don't know if there is an interest since I see very few servers running TBO cars.
Anyway... The idea goes like this:
Thursday 22:00 CET
TBO Class Cars
Two races of 30km in length.
Qualify before first run.
Second run in reverse start order.
Passenger weight penalty as this
Overall winner select track for next week.
Points will only be used to keep track of overall winner.
No "season points" will be kept track of.
Any takers?
--- Edit ---
I was thinking of using the slickmod, but I'm having trouble with it after the testpatches (not compatible?) so until that problem is solved, we would have to use standard tyres.
Yes, where are you all? 10 slots left, and of the ten taken, only three are from Canada. Where's your pride and fighting spirit? You can't let your neighbours win by just outnumbering you, can you?
In Sweden, 1.000.000 = one milion and 1,000000 = 1.
It just depends on what country you're from
Rain would be good, but as said above, it's been suggested a lot of times before.
