Come on, be fair. He did sign an autograph for the little girl.

Quote from Mackie The Staggie :I wonder how long it would be before the "PC gone mad" got rolled out....

it's not Political Correctness....it's a group of nut cases who know how to get people talking about there cause/mad campaign. There was no actual serious attempt to get the Pet Shop Boys to change the name, but played on the press coverage to come out of this "PC GONE MAD" demand, and boy do we lap it up.

Well spotted!

Quote from HVS5b :Might just to that. Well so long as you don't mean numpty = slow

Tried some of the other TBO servers but tbh all that was missing was Dick Dastardly and the SS cars don't do much for me atm so maybe it would be good to get back into them.

Numpty = idiot

Try Dead Men Racing. Different combo every week. Good, clean racing always an admin on board to protect you from numpties (assuming you're not a numpty yourself!)
For Demo users, Dead Men Racing D. Same applies except there is usually an admin on board.
End of commercial break.

LFS is without doubt the best racing sim.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm of to the nKP forum and say the same about nKP. When I've finished there I'll pop over to iRacing and say the same thing there, then rFactor, then Need for Speed etc. etc. etc.
Any bets someone says Need for Speed isn't a sim

( don't tell Ron )

I 'eard that!

I actually had a Skippy race last night! Went on their grass once (just to piss them off) and got over exuberant once. Did the nags get to me? NO!

I've rigged a cardboard strip over the top 1" of my monitor.

Quote from Linsen :Yeah, we can't think for ourselves anymore, completely lost sane judgement and worship the tin god called iRacing. We also believe in the unique legitimacy of our creed and that people like you must be purged. We're a sect, end of story.

Straight from the horse's mouth.

I can see where you've gone wrong. Find your way to the root folder \nkpro\tracks and nkpro\ase It's probably on C:\netKarPro\nkpro\tracks. When you open that folder you'll see aviano, prato, newbury etc. Drop your nice new tracks in with them.
Failing that go outside on the street and get the first 6 year old kid to help you.

There's no arguing with them once iRacing has got them under its spell. iRacing is perfect, end of story.

Quote from richard dk :
I think some people just looks too much on their SR.. and forgets to have fun..

You're probably right. I'm one of those that probably fall in the middle of that. I don't really care about SR or incident points but what I cannot abide is the constant NAGGING! 'You put a wheel on our nice grass, that'll cost ya' 'You lost control, that'll cost ya' I frickin' KNOW I lost control, I don't need it rubbing in! 'You were in a collision, that'll cost ya' No shit? So that's what that bump was!
The principal is great, the operation stinks. Dock me the points, tell me what a dick I've been AFTER the race. THAT'S the reason I've given up on iRacing.
No I can't ignore the messages and they infuriates me beyond what is reasonable. I understand that, but it does. £200+ down the Swanee (hey that's good. . Swanee? River in the southern states somewhere? No? Oh well.)

Any bets the track is in a folder, is in a folder. You should have a monaco folder and when you open it there are lots of files. configuration etc. That's the folder that goes in 'tracks' I hope that makes sense.

Quote from The Very End :Lol, you never thought I would give up the chase veiw? I trying to go the right way, atm I using camera stiched on the roof of the car, but hopefulle one day I'll use cockpit. The only thing that hassle me with cockpit is the lack of veiw, I just don't feel familiar with it. Even a real car has much more overveiw in the "cockpit" veiw.

Just get in the car, slam the door and drive. Stop pussyfooting around. Be brave, it'll make a man out of you.
