What exactly is left of those extra advantages of a XRR in "only" a 3 hour race ?

SCCC is going to race with the XRR in GTAL, simply because our skin looks cool on it Anyway, we are no Core Aliens and we will not be as fast as Core in that XRR. Seeing the results of the MoE and such I'd say that XRR 24%+10kg is the best option for us amateurs in GTAL and it might make some other teams pick the XRR as well instead of the"no brainer FZR choise" (cause that's one of the minor objectives of the rebalancing, isn't it ?!).

I have no scientific or practical basis for this, however when I read it out loud in my mind it sounds very neat and balanced.

Appears to be my monitor itself, gone broke on the moment Windows 7 was done installing.

When I turn power off beeping ends. When I use VGA instead of DVI it continues. When I use no VGA or DVI, soley power, the beeping also continues.

Hi,

Just got and installed Windows 7 pro full client.
Everything is going perfectly, a nice upgrade of Vista. One problem though: since I have installed Windows 7 my LCD screen (Samsung) is making a beeping noise which doesn't go away. First I thought it was because of a bad resolution, fixed all that but the beeping continues. I then installed the latest nvidia drivers for windows 7, but the beeping continues. Rebooted twice in the meantime, yet the beeping continues. When I switch power off from my screen the beeping ends.

Did my screen go broke by accident right on the moment my Windows 7 was done installing ? Any other theories or advice ?

Seven rounds might be a bit a lot, if changes would happen there I'd indeed skip one or maybe even two.

About the tracks; not much difference in rev or not.
Most combo's I haven't even raced on yet (not really little XFG - UF1 tracks like I'm used to race on ) so makes no difference in my eyes...

SO4R indeed sounds good.
Can the KY3 race be made KY3 Rev ?

SCCC is a mature and experienced team and we are acting like one. We have no endurance racing experience. Hence why we will follow the natural way of working ourselfs up in endurance racing by starting in GTAL. Being a 6-years-old team doesn't necessarily make us better than a just made team (extreme example: nFinity eSports).

If our first GTAL season goes well we'll soon be racing in IGTC. If not, then at least we're racing where we should be racing without diminishing anything of the high quality racing seen in IGTC and while contributing to a great organised league, like GTAL will undoubtfuly be, with our clean and mature racing.

Win-win for everyone, I hardly see why this "would be destroying IGTC"... I'd easily say au contraire!
