With F1 losing a fair few seconds as well in race pace.

I can oversteer PLENTY! There were some snap back issues with the previous patch, but this one you can do what the hell you want.

I am pretty sure the FIA could mandate actual Dildos to be attached to the front of all cars and a certain percentage of viewers would say "I got used to it, and now think it looks pretty good". If you take the mid-section of the car with their smooth proportioned angles, yes they look good, but my word they are ugly.

Compared to this especially. A few tweaks of the regulations could bring cars to look similar to this.

No irony. Race pace vs f1 they are comparable

In terms of race pace they aren't going to any slower than F1.

The 458's understeer seems to be exacerbated by Silverstone's layout. Had a bit more time on it now trying the M1 and so on... it's just too good.

The XBOW's understeer is horrifying. Not sure what they've done but the turn just a tad too much and the thing just goes dead.

It's a ton easier to control slides and get the arse end hanging out with the 458 but that understeer is pretty full-on when it arrives,

Yes and no. There are some occasions when stewards will come down hard on that ruling and others where they let it slide. They are getting stricter but I have done a few MSA races where I was cutting corners and then some. You just drive to whatever the stewards decide at a given meeting.

This is clearly a fake, the reflection in the window gives it a way.

4:49 in the Formula Abarth for me. I put the fuel to about 8. Maxed the downforce and softened the suspension a bit. A perfect run I'd imagine a 4:45 and with a perfect set must be a 4:30 in there.

If you look at the calender - London, Berlin, Beijing, Rio, Miami, LA, Monte Carlo, Buenos Aires etc.. - that's why it has to be fully electric. Without that I doubt they would be able to convince the cities to join. They are reaching places F1 can only dream of.

See, now your getting it It's a bit like going to watch your favourite band and they forget to plug their instruments in.

But if you have absolutely no preconceptions of what a race car is or sounds like, and you live in a major city where Formula E is visiting I suspect you could extract some excitement out of it. We are dinosaurs after all.

You know, it's not out of the laws of physics that both stock set up and free set up could be implemented.

It's not about whether they are lying or not. It's about the reliability of their statements. For example, one of my friends was involved in an incident on a race track. The driver in front of him decided to take a cut through on the racetrack for some unknown reason. Anyway my friend smashed right into him causing the guy, who took the cut through, to barrel roll out of his vehicle. Now there was unquestionably contact between the two of them. Not my drivers fault at all.

So anyway, this happened on the other side of the circuit where there happened to be a group of people on some Segway experience thing. Why they were there I don't know, some team building bollocks. Anyway, I asked them if anyone saw the incident. A couple did and do you know what they said ? "the guy just flipped on his own there was no other kart anywhere near him".

They have NO reason to lie... however their witness statement was TOTALLY incorrect. Witness statements are not statements of fac, no matter how good intentioned they may be. I learnt a valuable lesson that day.

This is why the Police want to take a look at the video (if there actually is any video which I doubt.)

Quote from Töki (HUN) :Some say there was a GoPro on his helmet and the family gave it to the police for further investigation. I wonder what the police has to do with this accident... It's quite obvious what happened.

It's not 'quite obvious' and of course they will investigate if someone has nearly been killed.

Also if the Go Pro thing is true (I suspect it isn't), it Hhas to be said I am not a huge fan of sticking anything to a helmet. Surely it changes force and impact distribution?

Major F1 journalists reporting Schumacher suffers major head injury isn't worthy of a thread? Instead it's an attempt to look cool and in-touch. There's nothing cool about posting anything on a video game forum, full stop.

Quote from The Very End :Cool From what Iv read it will be in a pay-dlc scheduling to be released in september 2014.
Great stuff no doubt, but I wish they would rather focusinning on AI news or multiplayer news so we can start racing instead of hotlapping in the game.

Imo

But Ai and multiplayer have already been 'announced'. Certainly not worthy of a big release.

I don't know how anyone can be disappointed. What could a sim game possible announce that would get you excited? What more could they add other than new cars or tracks???

I had a couple of issues with snap oversteer. But I started driving it like I would the real car (not being a dick immediately), started looking ahead properly and boom suddenly it all the snappiness just disappeared. You just have to look ahead so you can react quicker to the slides and man.. this is just ****ing epic.

I think ferrari lost the title when schumi went into to the wall... because of brake failure. Maybe rbr should have treated webber as number 1 just in case vettel's car breaks and spins into a wall and vettel break his leg?

He is merely pointing out that when the car is superior it doesn't necessarily reflect in the #2 driver's results. RBR have had a dominant car since mid-2009 irrespective of Webber's performance. The hypothesis is that if Vettel were not able to drive the car the probability is that Webber would inherit more focus from the team and consequently performance/results from the car.
