Lets not forget Sutil who just chopped right in front of Pastor smashing his wing to pieces. Pastor made a big mistake but so did Sutil. I think the wings are so ****ing stupidly wide at the front though.

Norway has a plentiful amount of this stuff called......... oil. That dirty stuff we pump into the atmosphere satisfying the world's capitalist hunger. and around and around and around we go.
And would I not be correct in saying the centre-right party of Norway has been leading the polls for several months now... so happy the Norwegions are with the left right now
The Royal Mail? Profit? No, the Royal Mail subsidies the spam industry, which basically cuts down a shit load of trees to send millions of people pointless shit. Without that there would be no profit (which is highly questionable anyway). Sooner that's sold off the better.
My point is that it is as easy to blame right-wing policies as it is left-wing. People just pick and choose depending on their viewpoint. It gets tiresome after a while, don't even know why I am even commenting haha
Last time I checked we had a free at point of service national healthcare system, we have a rather large welfare state, we have a central bank with control over a fiat currency, state education etc.... We are a pretty liberal leftist state as much as a right-wing one. Unless you think the amount of debt we've ratcheted up is imaginary. the left like to pretend that state enforced 'compassion' will solve things... it won't... it'll probably just make a bad situation worse. I am of a right-wing persuasion I am probably more compassionate towards life than any of you mother****ers
Anything who just singularly blames 'the right' has probably spent too much time doing GCSE Sociology.
It exploitation of both right AND left wing values that have left us in the state. The same old privatise the profits and socialise the losses.
I happen to think that we aren't in THAT bad a state when you compare to other shitholes around the world.
I can see the Merc's tyres melting before they've even finished the rolling lap.
I guess it's pretty lucky the opposition don't have Hamilton in a competitive/team otherwise the lap times between him and the rest could get a bit silly
Selling electric car racing to the public, for the next decade or so, is going to be very very difficult. Future generations will be easier of course, but for those who have been brought on with 100+db racing cars its going to be very hard.
Watching the F1 at Silverstone the other day I was struck by how tame they all looked. Take away the noise (which when you arrive at the circuit does get you excited) and you're left with quite an uninteresting sceptical unless you are really into the detail of driving. The noise made ALL the difference... and that's just pretty shit V8s
Joining this late, but I do know Singapore was a manufacturing fault on Hamilton's gearbox. He is no harder on components than anyone else. Just terribly unlucky.
If Pirelli know teams are using their tyres in a dangerous fashion then quite simply they should refuse to supply them. If Pirelli have knowledge of a clear and present danger in mis-use of their product resulting in catastrophic failure then they should have taken action and informed the FIA who could have quickly outlawed the mis-use of the tyres, namely running the rears the wrong way around. I don't think they can escape responsibility.
... or they should construct decent bloody tyres so teams are forced to explore 'extreme' set up options.
It's almost the equivalent of Renault saying to RedBull "your engine blew up because you were running it to 18,000rpm, really you should keep it below 15,000rpm for maximum reliability"
You can't have an F1 tyre manufacturer seriously saying the tyre explodes because the teams are exploring pretty reasonable setup procedures on a normal track. And why say it now, why not before? All the cars obviously have varying geometry and set up, yet still suffered the same problem.
Susanne Sundfor is ****ing incredible live. Best singer I've ever heard live (Hoxton 2013). Can't beat a bit of Rage Against the Machine live too (Wembley 2001 and Finsbury 2010).
You hit full lock and then lean on the outside wheel. You use the understeer to induce the jacking effect. it's a bit backward I know. It was mainly used in classes with low-grip wet tyres as you can't get the front to load enough.
It's something you do in karting, and some drivers keep it on into cars. It's not always the ultimate way to maximise speed, but it helps scrub speed and jack the kart.
