I think it's a real shame, we all play games for different reasons and I'd never question why someone would want to do it in their own way. I appreciate that the developers are in the persuit of simulation but still feel let down by them.

The point of this post is to out my views. I may get flamed for what I have said but that I can handle. I just think things like this are important to voice my feelings since people are trying to earn a living writing games like this.

LFS has brought some great pleasure into my life, ironically most of it was when the game was a free demo. At the moment I can't see any reason to buy S3 and fear there maybe many who feel the same.

you could sum up your post to a small post in the improvements section:

"Please add drift oriented compounds/tyres to lfs, its really important for me, thanks in advance"

brake balance and suspension settings.

this is the last time if talk of that de thread. it went like this for the ones that didnt got the chance to see it:

1)what are your thoughts on de mobile car.
2)ppl posted opinions on the topic, also mentioning the enviroment where
such an idea, where such a car, was born.
3)80 to 90% of opinions were negative on both car and de.
4) then, some dude(A) quoted another dude(B), that quoted me, that unfortunately for him, agreed with my opinion, and was bashed by dude(A) that instead of posting his opinion on the topic, came to the thread and posted after the quote, "yeah, if you are 13y olds". which is simple linear trolling, and i have 0 prob with that. i reply to that. i think someone that comes to a thread and posts deserves a reply , no matter how sad the intention is. so he got his reply. he was so amazed to get a reply back he acted offended when he did cast the first stone. thing his, if u cant brawl, dont troll.
that was a contained, 2 vs 2 posts affair and was basically done. posters kept posting on topic. then it was suddenly deleted. bang.

the fact the mod in question here has background interests or liaisons with the topic in question, and makes a secret about it (god knows why) makes it even more suspicious, but thats not my prob. what it is, is my disillusion.
thats why i wont post anything else constructive around here since its obviously , not welcomed, not protected, not safe from random spasms of crybabies at the helm.
sry but this is the conclusion i draw from the actions in question here.

you are right. i can tell you however that the results of what u see and diagnose as wrong are simply a result of the incomplete nature of the sim. once aero push is done, and a few more aero parameters are calculated, you'll start seeing a lot more similar results to real life.
imho it would be better for people to spot or try to spot things that are wrong and not things that are incomplete. Because lets face it, no one better than the coder, knows that many stuff is incomplete, so this kind of threads doesnt help (nor hurt).

on a personal note i hope that doesnt happen ever, and if any modding will be allowed/incentivated, i hope only under some special conditions that maintain quality and incentivate real talented modders. i hope this wont ever turn into racer or f1c. we dont need that. at least i certainly dont.
gtp (n2003) or gtr (isi) quality mods take a lot of time, resources, and commited talented people. if u wanna just fool around , racer is the acdsee of 3d racing sims.
This issue has been beaten to death in so many other threads makes me wish that archive was here already.
