It's for the busy business man who has no time for eating, having fun, family, beating the kids, etc. Now they'll have time to beat the kids.
The idea of eating is disgusting actually. (1)Taking foreign matter, sticking it into an orifice that traverses the length of the torso. (2)Shredding the matter into bits with calcium based masher. (3)Inducing peristalsis to push the matter through the orifice into a fleshy sac full of bacteria and enzymes. (4)Leaching out all the nutrients in the foreign matter, turning it into fecal matter. (5)Expelling the remaining contents through the lower orifice in order to make room for more.
I enjoy food that tastes good. But the tasteless sustenance is just much cheaper.
Lets implant a vestigial sac inside peoples' stomachs that contains food that grows on its own. It will then release the food into the stomach at regular intervals to be digested. That way people will never have to spend time to eat meals.
When learning how to rev-match you will most likely not improve your times. The most you could possible do is reach the same level of performance as you had while using the paddles.
This is assuming you are at the peak of your abilities which you probably are not. If you want to go faster work on your driving. Adding more things to think about will only make you slower.
The practice technique I suggest: learn Heel & toe in a real car. As mentioned before, it is impossible to feel the rev-match in any simulator because you cant feel the forces on the car.
What you can do to learn rev-matching while down shifting in a simulator is, try bliping the throttle and listen to the rpms.
If you blip and you hear the revs shoot up, then, when you release the clutch fully, the revs drop back down, you bliped too much. If you blip and the revs continue to shoot up after you have released the clutch fully, you didn't blip enough.
I forgot about that place. That was my favorite track in GT2! Oh the Memories. That the track where I first learned how to drift. I was sad when I learned it was not in GT4.
Is there any way to select wheel settings profiles for the thrustmaster?
I have to say, if for some reason any car in any "simulator" is way too twitchy, it is because of the wheel settings.
Except for the MRT. it has a small wheel turn for how much lock it has regardless of wheel settings. Which I don't doubt it would. I couldn't drive a go-kart in a sim with realistic steering ratios because it really does have twitchy steering. It is something you need to feel in order to catch a slide.
A picture I had to draw for my art class of my face. I am waiting for critique day to see the reactions of my class mates. My art teacher had a some kind of disgusted-awkward expression when I presented it for approval for the project. It was priceless.
The flu was hyped. It's a conspiracy to distract the people from the larger problems at hand. Flood the news broadcast with useless hype garbage so they don't have to broadcast the real s%$t. It's true I tell ya! all true!
I guess that is something to consider. As for the multiplayer, I can't get a server list because of whatever that error is. Anybody have any thoughts on the error?
I thought I heard multiplayer was available in the 1.1 beta demo, but when I click on the multiplayer race button I am given the following error message:
"An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."
Does anybody have any idea what that means? And am I wrong about the availability of multiplayer in the demo?
Edit:
I thought something was wrong with my wheel when the FFB went soft after starting the game up again. I didn't realize 'till later that the FFB option was part of the specific setup.
I don't think the interface is bad though, it is just different. A nonconformist would love this.
