Its the flexing being related that I am forming my conspiracy theory on. There is no hard evidence that the development of the two are related, it just seems that way because of the time period. It is amusing (to me anyway) because gokarting had the reputation of being a kid's sport.
Is the Dallara unstable on the brakes like the F1600 is in NKP? I tried the demo for the first time, everything feels fine, I just don't know how a real single-seater feels like on while on the brakes.
Everything will be free until the expiration date. Anytime after that, you'll have to pay with our bowels!
I may have my zombie epidemic yet! You see this zombie apocalypse is going to be caused by the new lab grown mutated meat. Until then, I wait. Always ready, always vigilant.
I wouldn't expect most people to be able to survive in a situation like that anyway. Most people die of thirst anyway.
Edit:
I just waiting to the Zombie infection just like that movie "Zombieland," so I can actually use my useless camping skillz for real real instead of for play play.
I find this really interesting but I don't have a problem will killing another animal in order to eat it.
Deforestation is more of a cause of excess greenhouse gases than cow farts. Nitrogen, oxygen, carbon-dioxide, hydrogen, and methane would be in the atmosphere because other animals fart too. The population of cows offsets the mass extinction, and depopulation of other animals.
To stop eating meat, is to remove one of your abilities to survive. After prolonged meat free diets some people become unable to eat meat without getting sick.
Hypothetical situation:
If you happen to get stranded in an unpopulated area far from civilization, you will have a harder time surviving. Unless you have a vast knowledge of edible wild plants in the area, you will eventually have to eat some other animal to survive.
I see. I have always associated springs with compression and expansion forces. As long as it has been engineered for its purpose, which I assume it has been, that it would not break under its normal operational stresses. Now that way seems more logical for the application of "rods."
Why did they make the arm pull on the rods to compress the mono-shock? There is a stretching force the on the tie-rod ends that compress the spring. I thought compression resistance was better than stretch resistance, because there is less tendency for a part to break. To much compression might just bend a part, but too much stretch and the part may break.
Those tires had rim protectors (thick sidewall that protrudes out past the edge of the rim). None of the tires in LFS have that feature. The thicker sidewall would cause less deformation than one with out the thick sidewall. Also, the person driving might not be pushing to maximum G like we do in LFS, there is no way of knowing the amount of flex in the video is the limit or not. Using real data gathered by tire manufacturers is the only accurate way to go about coding a new deformation model.
I agree that camber adjustments are available on some road cars. Especially ones similar to what is available in LFS. Camber adjustment is part of the alignment. I am sure the range does not allow for +/- 4 degrees of camber, but the option is available.
Here are some cars that have slight camber adjustments from stock that I have come across on the internet:
On modern "affordable" cars that have the "flappy Paddles" there is quite a bit of delay in the shift after on of the paddles has been flapped. That is why that system is hopelessly horrible. However, as time progresses the technology will only become more affordable, making the response time faster for cheaper cars.
The real reason that these exploits are advantageous is the fact that most races are short 4-5 lap sprints. You need to get the tire up to temperature as quick as possible just to get a good lap in. Longer races require a smoother drive with minimum tire wear.
I have heard that the DFGT is a good wheel and does just as well as the G25 wheel. If you want a wheel with a clutch and h-shifter, saving your money would be the best thing to do so you can get either the Fanatec Porsche or the logitech G25/G27.
Yeah but that is lame. The point of shift+f mode is to get all of the interface off the screen while driving. Displaying flags defeats the purpose of shift+f mode.
How about actual flags, that are clearly visible, on the side of the track, in specific sectors. That way people who drive in shift+F mode can see if there is a caution on the track before they crash into them.
