Great vid! The shot of the XRT in the tyres where you panned around it was great, should have made it go all the way round whilst it stayed on its nose! The helicopter sound was also perfectly in time with the beat of the music!

I won't be able to drive this server until Friday as I was playing about with locking / unlocking to play a friend on the demo and I've used all my unlocks for the week. D'oh!

Any chance you could attach the layout file?

That 3rd race was really exciting, felt sorry for O'Neill getting muscled out by Matt Neal and losing loads of places in the process. Plato's drive was amazing, last to 2nd, and like Mp3 said, he made every pass without any contact.

Mat Jackson had a great weekend, nice to see him back where he should be.

Great drive by Gio, there was some great action in the middle of the pack in that race too. Fabrizio's reaction to the taste of his drink at the end of his post-race interview was hilarious!

Yeh we were thinking the exact same thing.. first he knocked Turkington off, then he pushed Jackson off the track on a straight. Neal couldn't have chosen a better person to take with him. Have to say we let out a little cheer when we realised he hit Collard!

Figured it out now, the original install didn't complete properly and I was missing all files apart from the .exe ones, so I removed that and installed again, now all working fine. Thanks!

Nope XP. Whats the administrator rights nonsense? Apologies if it's been covererd already, haven't read the thread other than this page.

Also, when I did the user start quick guide thing, the Calibrate button at the bottom of the controller page didn't work. Now I've also lost the little car preview image when you select one to test / race. No matter what car, no image appears. Track image is fine.

Thought I'd finally give iRacing a go, allbeit by getting the Radical SR8 one month free trial game code. I downloaded and installed it, signed up to the website and everything and when I first went to test the car it said "Updates Required" so I downloaded all of them, expecting to then be able to play.

But it still says updates are required, no matter how many times I download them. So I can't just drive.

Any ideas?

Maximum of 3 drivers on track at once on purpose? Keep getting 'Race Is Full' when there's a few people on the server.

Johnny Herbert is taking James Thompson's place in the Team Dynamics Civic for the last three rounds of the BTCC. Will be interesting to see how competitive he is, at least we know his car is capable of winning, and he's won Le Mans before so has had experience in a more "normal" type of car than his F1 car, so he could well be up at the front, we'll have to wait and see!

Oh it was an XRR, thought it was an XFR. My bad!

Well I for one do mind, this is meant to be the most prestigious race series in the world and they do it without actually racing each other on track. I want to see some proper action, some decent passes and battles, not listen to people explaining why someone's pitstop was .3 of a second slower than someone elses.

Haven't read the thread, but thought I'd say this, apologies if it's been said already.

I think they should get rid of pitstops completely, too many races are won / lost in the pitlane and the strategy room. That may be exciting for the guys behind the scenes, but to watch on TV it's incredibly boring. Get rid of pitstops, use some harder tyres and get a bigger fuel tank and lets actually see some racing on the track, who cares if the cars are a bit slower as a result.

I know there'd probably be a lot more changes needed to the cars, but the principle would be just to keep all the cars together all the time so we could actually see some decent tussells, rather than the continued monotony that is on now.

Very addictive this, but very frustrating at the same time! Managed a 44.52 in the FXO but had a shoddy first lap so it didn't show.
