If u have friends who live nearby, try hauling your pc over there and unlocking on their internet. Or try unlocking using your mobile phone.
It might be something strange with your ISP if u can reach demo-servers but can't unlock.

Are u sure u are trying your Game-password and not the Web-password? Might be a stupid question..but u never know.

Web-password is used to log in to lfs.net and this forum and the Game-pass is only used to unlock S1/S2, so make sure u have a game-password set on lfs.net and use that to unlock ingame.

Doesn't suprise me as his first thread was made to ask if it's true that u could get your S2-licence banned completely for wrecking. Figured he liked wrecking (why else would u post about it as soon as u got S2?) and every of his subsequent 135 posts lacked any intelligence.

Glad u won't be soiling the name of Belgians on CTRA any more RAM...our reputation is bad enough as it is :d

Think some people like fe. Phlos will happily spend hours each week making new accounts just to be able to grief some S1/S2 licensed players, not to mention griefer communities like TKC or *mylord*.

Another slight problem could be demo racers who have no idea of certain rules coming to CTRA or other servers and ruining races..this will be quickly solved by the hosts though by simply putting one cone somewhere. (pitexit,grass,sandtrap,etc)

Overall I think it is a very good change, I just hope there aren't enough immature people to spoil it for the demo crowd.
And i'm almost convinced it will reduce the amount of people acting like fools on demo content, which is great.

edit : ok i was wrong..Don' tknow why i missed the 15users part as obviously CTRa allows more, but that only makes this a better change than i already thought it was.

And maybe also point out that the insane understeer he feels with both the XFG and XRG is because he is using full lock ,causing the fronts to exceed their slipangle and thus causing massive understeer. Especially with a stock setup (maybe point him to inferno for oversteery sets?)

If u have been banned from so many servers that u can't even remember which ones, there is something (lots of things) u are doing seriously wrong.

Schumachers karting in Kerpen has fun karts and a technical track. They have outdoor too but never had the chance to drive on it.

Aguri Suzuki has nothing to do with the Suzuki company...well except for sharing his surname with the founder of Suzuki motor corp. Honda would never let anyone related to the Suzuki company run something they developed, corporate spying is bad enough as it is.

I also don't see ANY american company entering F1 anytime soon, they are all in serious debt and struggling to stay afloat. Can't see one of them spending billions over X years to get into F1.
Same reason why i doubt any car manufacturer will join soonish...costs are way too high and they would only soil their brandname by getting bad results for years. Even the largest engine ( =/ car ) manufacturer Honda is having real trouble becoming halfway competitive, which is hurting their brandname. Or Jaguar when they tried to run an F1 team.

Same for VAG ,they would be behind Merc and BMW for years and become the laughingstock of the german automobile world..so unless they can buy out a company like red bull or better i don't see them join. Though imo they are the sole, not yet involved, carmanufacturer who has a chance at being competitive in modern F1.

Scawen, do u have active Dutch-speaking translators? If not i'm willing to translate them to dutch and have a few people verify that there are no mistakes.

Pretty much a non-discussion imo as there are people able to finish longer races without any real problems. Thus it points to flaws in your drivingstyle.
It would be another matter if no one was able to finish a long race without overheating the clutch or nursing it so u end up going 3seconds slower a lap..which isn't the case.

That would allow u to plug in a much faster CPU later on and same with the GPU, so u can upgrade when u feel it's needed..but at the same time that system will run any game currently on the market.

I usually spend a bit more on the case and monitor as those are parts u will most likely still be using in 5years, unlike all the other parts which will be dated by the end of the year..no matter what u buy right now.

Sli is an utter waste if u don't insist on running Crysis on max res and quality with full AA/AF. ( it's a bad game anyhow ,but that's beside the point )
As a normal user u are better off spending money on one card now and then spending the other part in 2009 on a new generation.
The one card will run everything fine for a year and a new card in 2009 will be faster than two 9800GTX's.

Ontopic : dont race anything but i do have a '89 golf mk II GTI that's insured as a classic car. It's fully stock so luckily it doesn't look like many of the tuning kids cars, but it still goes well weighing only 900kg for 123hp.

Well u can't have everything.
So many people complain about lower standard graphics ,or the lifeless feel of LFS ,or this or that.
Then when alot of work is put in improving the graphics (new SO, adding AA/Af and so on) and adding little things that are NEEDED to make LFS grow into the future. U get the same people complaining about the opposite stuff.."we need new tracks ,new cars " ; "these are worthless patches because i don't see an immediate improvement to my gameplay " and so on.

LFs is a title made by a few people so it will never release a completely reworked physics and graphics engine yearly (and i wouldnt even call those games new anyhow..just rehashed)
But it is made to last years and years so sometimes work has to be done that improves the engine ; adds new playerbases (languagepatches) or simply stuff that we never even think about.

Yes players will lose interest and move off..but that doesn't mean LFS is being lowered into it's coffin as long as new players are still joining and mainly as long as the devs don't abandon the project.
I'm sure many of the people who now complain and leave will be back once another major content patch is out.

I myself have lost interest in LFS often over the years (either due to time or other games grabbing my attention)..but that didnt stop me from comming back after 3-6months each time and fully enjoying the game again. Right now i haven't played it since early january ,and even then i was barely touching it for 6months before that.
But i still follow the development and I definitely haven't scrapped it as a game i will play again in the future (even if my wheel is packed and stored in the attic atm), possibly even sometime soon as a group of friends recently started playing again and are bugging me to join them. Or if i don't rejoin them..i'm sure i'll launch LFS again when the next major patch hits the testforum..AND have lots of fun racing people even if i know the tracks and cars.
(did shumacher or any racer ever get bored of racing? even if they were in the same car ,driving the same tracks for 15years?)

Had a dismal first race ending up 32nd (or something 30+), but luckily i've managed to climb back up to 8th in the two following races.
Can only wonder what spot would have been possible with a few more points from race 1.
