The next AI will have to include tire use/fuel/pit stops/damage on top of the calculations they require now. So i don't see them using up less CPU time compared to now.

I'm guessing your PC must be rather dated as LFS has always been programmed to work well with older hardware.

I was the red XRG ,comming out of the chicane as number 4.
Tried to brake and evade ,but had no chance with the black XR right in front of me.
After that i turned into something like a fliperball..being thrown around several times.

But it was still fun :nut:

Let's see...

U dont even think about lifting when there are 3 cars going a bit slower into T2. U simply push the guy in front and when he doesnt move over /spin out (whatever u thought he had to do) u cut the track and try to jump the whole pack.
Then u decide to squeeze the guy trying a pass after your mistake and assume u have the line into the chicane even though u are on the outside and the other car has more then half a car overlap. (wasent anyone going into a turn on the outside a moron according to u in another thread?) Simply push him off the track a bit and voila..its your corner.
Again u have a terrible exit and decide u have to swerve to "block" aka ram ..which fails ,but u still manage to throw yourself in front of the 2nd car so he hits u. Then in the last corner u dive inside(once again cutting the track) while pushing the other car.
And only then does the turn come up where u arent really in fault for the contact but still refuse to lift even a microsecond so u can both get through safely.
Not to mention your lovely mature first reaction after the incident.

I would say u were banned rightfully as u refuse to race clean or fair.. but good luck getting out of karts and into your first real race where u will be penalised or even have your license revoked within a season (dare i say within 1race?)
Even wish the Wrecker brigade would enfore a bit tighter rules to include sportsmanship and not pure wrecking so we wouldnt have to deal with your "uber fast, completely clean" driving on most servers

I dont see how alleady having a 4x4 GTR is a reason not to add another one.
If Scavier can bring it ingame quicker than a completely new car, i'm all for it.

Add some interest by giving it a mid engine layout. (homologation special for those who need to compare to real life)
And, thanks to the new intake/weight handicaps, we could have a balanced GTR class with 4 unique cars.

With 2 versions, one NA roadgoing version and a turbo'd trackversion with downforce (and possibly slicks?), they might even be able to fit in existing classes.

and the raceversion vs UFR/XFR

Being fantasy cars there should be some room to tweak the performance(CC/turbo/no turbo/weight/etc) so they fit in, and if that isn't possible they would still rock for single car races.

Yeah frokki it was fun chasing u for 10laps. Tried a few passes early on but didnt want to crash, then planned to do an all out attack near the end but sadly u dropped out

Pity it was only one race..had hoped we could do a race or 2-3. As i love the Lx4 and felt i could improve quite a bit on that track.

I think my english is above average..but it certainly isn't perfect.
Main reasons i understand and speak it well are; growing up in various foreign countries and going to english schools; working abroad ; hating subtitles on tv (ignore them) and hating translated books so i read mostly english.

It is said that being belgian is an advantage too since our language has a wide spectrum of sounds/tones and our schools(for the few years of highschool i did over here) teach dutch ,french ,german and english.

I havent seen it mentioned yet, but make sure u are running patch U or u wont see most of the servers.

The cheapest option would be to return your 7900GTO to the shop and exchange it for an AGP card, or if thats not possible sell it for minimal loss and buy an AGP card.
If u dont want to do that , buy a Nforce4 based motherboard and plug in an opteron 165 later.(cheapest dualcore opteron, about 150€ now and clocks up to 3ghz on air) Only the Athlon 939 chips have been discontinued, opty's will be produced well into 2007. So u should be able to find one easy enough later on.
Also newer games do take advantage of 2gb of ram, so u might consider spending 60$ on an extra gigabyte when u buy a game that really needs it.
