Ahh no I agree £200 isn't a small amount of money by any means, I've never heard the z5500s myself so I couldn't comment on them really. I'm sure they're pretty much the best for general PC use, as most people say they are. Those or the older Creative Megaworks (all the new ones are crap).

Because money does = quality with speakers. Most of the time.

It obviously depends what your needs are, but I couldn't live with £50 5.1 speakers.

I once had a cheap ass 5.1 system. Ditched it within a few months and went back to 2.1. Save the money or get a new wheel

Yeh tis a good game, blitzed in a couple of days though, as did most of the world by the looks of it as it was in store pre-owned EVERYWHERE about a week after launch.

Erm the mx440 is in the GeForce 2 line, then you jumped to the GF5s etc. ATI haven't been any different, at the time of the GT6s they had the 9xxx, then they went to Xxxx (X being 10) then 2xxx and so on.

What the hell?! You mean that proves someone had already been there, not the existence of wormholes. Which do exist anyway but they're hardly usable.

Nearly everyone I've spoken to that's heard him says he's hilarious. Peronsally I find he moans too much, that isn't funny to me. Hypocritical perhaps, but never mind, I'll get over it

Generally, you get what you pay for with speakers. IF you were to go down the car subwoofer route (I suggest you don't) you'll have to amp them somehow.
