And yes it was genuine mileage, and yes I've seen plenty of others with similarly low miles. No it doesn't necessarily mean it's in good condition, but it's a good start. Who cares what the engine's got left in it when you'd be removing it anyway.

Luckily I have enough experience building and driving cars to know you can't just bang a manual box in reverse at any sort of motorway speed, and thus didn't need to look it up.

I guess TBH if you're uploading legally, then you have nothing to worry about, just bin the letters. However catching people who are uploading rather than those downloading is at least more to the root of the problem. Of course it could be said that the root of the problem is the fact they charge £10 for a CD etc. DVDs are worse, I don't see how HD warrants a £7 increase over standard DVDs, pretty sure they probably cost <£1 more to produce.

Don't get me wrong though, I do not agree with ISPs tying to limit bandwidth as they haven't got the resources to provide it. Be Broadband FTW!

Might be worth dropping the sound card in favour of another 2GB ram? I don;t know how intense your graphic work gets, but I'm finding my new 4GB pretty useful over 2GB.

That's not 100% true though and you know it. If the data is on an area of the HDD that is unlikely to be written to just by loading up new programs etc, you have a fairly high chance of recovering the file(s). I've recovered numerous files sometimes many restarts and much usage etc.

Part of the reason the electricity may be cheaper than petrol (if it is even) is that you don't pay as much duty on fuel used to produce the electricity. Like for like petrol would be cheaper I believe.

European Fords are just that. They are not designed or built in America or for the American market.

The list of cars you've driven is pretty awful, a couple of Landys and a couple of Golfs which are hardly known for comfort, in fact the MK3 Golf is one of the most uncomfortable cars I've been in.

Yes, crappy 5.1 sets. There is the built-in amplifier with up to 10% distortion on higher volumes (that was a THX labeled Creative set :shy, a cheap subwoofer that is tuned to have a massive bump in the 100-150Hz range to give a "nice fat bass that shakes everything in your house" (hello Logitech :shy and a bunch of cheap fullrange drivers in a plastic case or "wood" that's so thin it's almost cardboard.
Maybe you can hear the difference with a good headphone, but who carries a headphone all day? I don't know about you, but i don't.

If you are serious about recording, just don't bother with Creative really. There are many different better products availble.

Just make the files or folders shared in Windows. Literally works perfectly in XP. Vista on the other hand couldn't be more confusing when it comes to sharing files.
