I recently got asked to prevent right-clicking on a clients images online - pointless. Anyone who wants the pictures can just scan grab or indeed view the source. The best way for pictures is to watermark them. With text you really only have the copyright notice.
Whoa hold up there. Don't just assume bigger injectors will give you more power. How are you getting that much more air into the engine that it requires bigger than stock injectors? They are generally only needed after other modification, for example throttle bodies or forced induction.
G force meter that records acceleration etc. I read somewhere that they weren't very good though? And that the iPhone app that does the same thing is more reliable. That said I don't know what model G-tech they were using.
S14 I came up with a longer reply but then thought there's no real need. All I will say is lose the sympathy vote. I work all day too you know, when you've got bills to pay for thousands of pounds, £100 doesn't seem that much.
I don't know if you live away from home, but there's a BIG difference between earning because you want things, and earning because you have to pay bills.
And yes one of my Core 2 Duo CPUs does idle around 60. I do know what I'm talking about.
Wether he's racist or not I don't know - I don't know enough to comment, however just because someone has adopted a different race kid doesn't automatically make them non-racist to all races.
Do you realise how hot silicon can get before you start to have problems?
Once again people spouting out shit they hear online as if they know it all.
e: I'm kinda sick of people giving this guy crap because his parents (or whoever it be) can afford to buy him things. If you don't like it stop damn well whining about it. It's his choice of what he decides to do, either offer help or be quiet.
S14 Drift you very rarely have anything useful to offer, how ironic it is that £100 in the real world as you like to call it doesn't get you very far. But obviously you'd know that because you're 'so in touch'. I don't think you'd take that tone if your parents offered you a similar situation. Jealousy makes people say lots of things.
Additionally if anyone thinks 50 or 75 degrees is too hot for a CPU you're very likely wrong. Try reading up on it, Crashgate obviously has, and thus has useful advice to offer.
One of my machines is idling at 62 degrees right now. What's going to happen, is it going to melt into a horrible mess of silicon? No, it's going to carry on running like that as it has been for the past couple of years. And when it reaches 85 under load what is going to happen? Again, the same thing that has happened the past few years to it, and hundreds of thousands of other machines like it out there - it's going to be fine.
It's been said before, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't post as if it's gospel truth.
I have a recollection of needing to buy the 8pin cable when I tried to power up my P5B. Unfortunately I can't remember if it was because it wouldn't boot, or just if the 4pin cable didn't reach in my P180.
Right yer no they don't. Doesn't matter if it was 4 hours, 4 minutes or 40 secs, any of those are enough time for the CPU to get up to max temp. That's hardly surprising assuming you were running stock?
Sounds like you've gone away and possibly got this overclocking malarky dialed in now harjun. Good stuff.
If those speakers don't have a surround sound decoder, then no amount of cabling will help. As Bob mentions, you'll need a decoder first, then link that to the speakers.
Nothing beats being able to crash out on the sofa with some mates and some beers and play a casual game or two.
PCs very rarely lend themselves to casual gaming, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I love a good serious game as much as the next guy. Just not as easy to pick up and play.
Not much point arguing with BlueFlame, he is under the impression a MK1 Golf would wipe the floor with anything. Then again all he's driven are some landys and a mk3 golf or 2. Great argument there.
Why is it that every month my Ford mag is filled with turboed cars producing 700bhp+ in most issues. I guess Ford really don't know about turboed engines. Then again VW produced the MIND BLOWING engines such as the 2.0 8v in the mk3 producing a, frankly huge, 114bhp. Awesome.
I have a G15 V2. If I'd known the keys require a 50000N force to register a key press I wouldn't have spend £50 on this thing. All I got from the girls I live with were sighs of dismay. Still it lights up, and lights ftw.
@BlackBird: Yer that's fair play. I'm definitely with you on the saved sessions thing, sometimes my machines won't be properly shut down for weeks due to things I'm working on and don't want the hassle of setting up every time I turn it on.
