IIRC the image on each screen was rendered at it's native res, so it was, as you say, 1680x1050 + 1280x1024 either side.
The pixel pitch of the different monitors is slightly different yer, but I really didn't notice it too much, I think the gap between the monitors means you notice it less, I imagine if there were no gap it wouldn't look quite right.
I reckon Jack if you went for that 24" in your other post (you know my view on cheap panels :P Although might be semi-legit if it's not a TN) and then had even 2 17s either side it would be quite good. 19s would be preferable I guess. Either way SoftTH can render each screen at a different resolution, so they'll all be at native resolutions.
Don't wear jeans much but I own a few pairs of Levis, much more comfortable than cheap jeans. Normally were combats or whatever, tracky Bs if I don't need to go out in public
Tshirts, tend to wear anything that suits my style, a lot of skate gear etc, generally not too bad quality for the price, and some good designs too. I pick up a lot of my casual gear from the internet though where I've found some places with amazing deals.
As Tristan said, cheap suits do look cheap, so some investment needs to go into a good one, that said as I only wear a suit maybe twice a year I think mine's alright.
I have an 8bit VA screen sat next to a TN here, and I can definately tell the difference.
I will a) never buy a screen with a high dot pitch such as 22" or 27", as I work very close to the screen and need the clarity, and
b) never buy a TN panel after using better types, the difference to me can be pretty big.
RS500's go for far more than £16k, assuming they are actually mint. Nethertheless, I'm sure it's a very nice (and scary) car!
The Escort Cosworth point though is wrong. They have basically the same engine, with the option of 4WD etc, and I expect they weigh less than the 3dr Cossies. Of course there was a 4WD Sapphire Cossie variant, but I imagine that was heavier again. The latest Reyland Cossie is pretty special
Yer nicely restored cossies sell for pretty big money. If it was a bog standard sierra then yer, mess about with it, but probably best to keep a genuine cossie standard.
90s club classics do it for me at the gym. Ministry of Sound anthems is my album of choice atm. Obv it's all really commerical stuff etc but that's ok when I just listen to it when training.
Aren't mobile phones one of the most scammed items on ebay? You're gona have a bunch of fun selling those in large numbers! Still, seems worth it I guess for a bit of trouble.
So what then? Just whack a supercharge on and hope for the best? Have fun with that - also have fun when the insurance company come round and ask to look under the bonnet.
115bhp is still more enough to have 'fun' in your first car. Insurance isn't impossible of course, as I say a couple of my friends and I insured and drove 1.8/1.6 cars- with ~90bhp, but they weren't heavy cars at all, I don't know how heavy the Bimmer is however.
Anywayyyyyy as you say, going OT here, what I will say is, when has 'artwork' ever looked good on an average car bumbling around town?
Good luck getting any mods insured at 17. Also good to see you've plucked 60bhp out of the air. I don't know how much you plan to save up, but you're looking at the cost of the car, '£2,600' insurance - maybe - then what? I don't know anything about the BMW engines, but you ain't gona get 60bhp from an ECU remap, or chip. Factor in maybe another £1k for engine work and you're looking at a fair bit of money for a first car.
Of course you'll be declaring all modifications otherwise you're driving uninsured, and thus illegally.
A couple of my mates and I bought (like everyone else) small cars as first cars, but with reasonable, for our age, engines. They were light enough and powerful enough to have a bit of fun without killing ourselves, and were perfect for a first car. Anyone with a 'nice' car in our school got the piss ripped out of them anyway, then proceeded to crash them in the first year.
Whoa, sorry, I thought you miss-spelt spam. Massive brain fart there, completely forgot about the multiplayer. In which case my post up there is completely wrong lol, sorry about that.
So anyway, I've had Be broadband since October, and on the whole I'm fairly impressed. Download speeds aren't bad, around 18Mbps on a good day, and the very little uploading that I do is fine too. Added to that the price is right. I've also never had any problems fair a fair usage policy, and we as a house download anything up to 10GB/day.
However... my biggest issue is with online gaming, and by that I particularly mean Counterstrike. I frequently, like 4 out of 5 times I join a server, have what I can only tell is a massive lag spike, more often that not enough to eject me from the game with a timeout. Generally however once I'm in a server, the connection stays good. And with most good UK servers my ping is around 15-30ms. During these lag spikes the rest of the network traffic doesn't seem to be interrupted, and the wireless doesn't drop out.
My network setup isn't the best - wireless, however I'm wondering really if the problem is the truely AWFUL free router they give you. It really is bad, don't ever try and set up port opening, as that crashes it. Don't ever try and upgrade the firmware, as that crashes it. You'd be lucky to be able to log into the router's control panel without it crashing. Either way I think I'll try grabbing myself a Netgear router (never had any problems with the few I used before) and give that a blast. It really is frustrating trying to get a game going.
So basically just wondering if anyone else has Be Broadband and has problems with online gaming?
Just don't use mailto link or any other version of text email. I'd be very interested to know the proportion of people who actually use mailto links, to those who don't, because I get the impression it's actually very low.
Also another classic Harjun fail. Removes copywrite notice and manages to mess up a template, yet leaves the validation links at the bottom. Fantastic job.
Well I imagine no one mentioned it as those posts are nearly a year old. How is your post* any better sorry?
Took a quick look around the site today, really can't wait to play it. Housemates and I are gona have to get a 360 for this, no doubt about it :P
*and tbf this one**
edit: ** I think you will find actually my post was in response to Nuse saying it may contain around 10GB of data, which I will add could be true, as the 360 version will be on dual layer dvd. Thus henceforth try actually getting some meaning behind your post, and then maybe lose the hypocrisy.
Barely works on my rig (E6600/8800GTS) with highish settings, think the demo defaults to 800x600 res or something, tbh I was sick. They've taken making a bad game to the next level, by making a bad game that's horribly inefficient.
