Quote from Crashgate3 :Yes, but you'd also be better of spending £200,000 on a house rather than a Ferrari, but people stilll buy Ferraris

Lol yer but this is more like spending $30,000 on a Caterham which would be quicker than a $120,000 jeep or something, I duno. Either way water cooling shouldn't just be bought under the impression it will cool your PC better, or it is quieter

Yes, I currently train with my girlfriend, however, sometimes it's just nice to "loose yourself" in some music when training.

I do that too, go to the gym with a couple of mates but then sometimes just pop the music on and get to it.

I think the most important thing that I've found is to set good targets (as you've done) and really work towards them.

Tbh I don't really run as I don't really enjoy it so I don't know how applicable this is, but I enjoy my rowing, and do a 45 min row every couple of days or so. However I try to set myself a new target every week, whether it be distance or speed.

Sounds like you're on the right track though

MK Indy and 1945 AEC Matador. Look those up if you don't know what they are.

And some boring cars including a 405, 406 and my Fiesta.

Yer we're slightly off topic here but I see what you're getting at.

It's a sad state of affairs.

When I live in the city during term time I feel like emigrating when I graduate, even though it's a relatively nice place (Southampton) it's still crude.

However when I go back to the countryside during holidays there's no other place I'd rather be. There are places in the UK where you can get away from it, luckily my parents live in one of those places.

As for that song, I think it's more due to the fact it gets played on the Jo Whiley show on Radio 1 at least 4 times an hour, really only interrupted by the Foo Fighters tbh.

No offense to anyone here (I don't what setups people are using exactly) but you'd be better off spending $50 on aircooling than a cheap watercooling setup, until you get to about the $200 mark an air cooling setup will be more effective and far simpler.

Hmmm no the funniest thing I've seen today was a group of chavs strutting down the road with a stolen bike wheel and a bag full of what I can only assume was white lightning or similar.

It comes a close second though.

Also, 21" TFT? You're going to want to look at the 512MB version of the GT.

Coincidentally I watched them both the other day and loved them. Classic films, I'd say Planet Terror was the better of the two, absolutely hilarious film.

Death proof was good but didn't really go anywhere, no sure if it meant to tbh.

Either way the direction and production of the movies was top quality as you'd expect from Tarantino/Rodriquez.

Quote from Zachary Zoomy :I did that at school once. drifted, raced for 20 mins, even went online and caused bandwidth issues for the rest of hte network . Now I can't get it working again. somone deleted winzip :/

Your school network feel to its feet because one copy of LFS was running online?

If there's one thing I learnt from school, it's that their networks are AWFUL. I've never experienced worse networks, and hopefully never will

According to Evo magazine, the new Mondeo handles better than any new Audi other than the S/RS models.

Umm I doubt it...

From what I can make out the mod stopped being distributed about 3 years ago, going to be very tricky to find it.

Quote from nmx :Haha, you have no clue what you're talking about then. For a few $100, you'd never get anything nearly as powerful as the CELL/RSX combination.

Lol blow me, I bet 5-10% of people on this forum have better graphics cards than in the PS3.

Ooooooh you've got 9 cores.... shame no-one can develop for them due to the horribly complicated SDK. I think the most use they've been so far is for folding farms. n1.

You also have no clue. The PS3 has a <0.1% failure rate, where as the 360 has 100% (all of them are guaranteed to overheat).. BIG difference. PS3's quality is superior to the 360.

Learn some figures, noob.

I wonder how the PS3 would cope with Crysis in full HD, oh wait, it wouldn't.

Lol @ Dajmin

Phew thats a suitably immature post over with.

Quote from Dooonster :ok will make the video of it tomorow to prove that the moving alien dont get hit

Lol its called aim. If you can't the aliens, you're doing something fairly badly wrong.

Worst ending was Crysis. (Community mods redeemed the game).
Best SP was CoD4.
Best atmospheric affect was Bioshock.

Also enjoyed Stalker, Dark Messiah Might and Magic (though got repetitive).

And after all that... I still only play CSS seriously.

Yer the Athlon is just a bit too old now. Tbf one of my mates still runs my old Athlon 3200+ Barton as his main rig and gets on ok in games, but he'll be building a new rig soon anyway so theres no need to swap the Athlon out.

What I will say is if you can, sell the 2800+ on ebay. You should make a fair bit more than you would imagine. At the time of selling my old bits to my mate, (6 months ago or so) I could have made £50-£60 on the 3200+, that's a lot of money for an old CPU, it seems a lot of people still want them and they're getting pretty rare as it were.

Hoho I did not know that, all contracts I've been on have been signed up to in shop, thats the only reason I said it adds up to £899. Tbf I guess most people do pay that tough.

Don't buy a Nokia N73 then upgrade the firmware to v4.whatever, kills bluetooth connectivity with OSX.

There's my useful fact for the day - expect nothing other from drivel for the rest of the day.

Don't get an X800, they don't support shader model 3.0 IIRC, get the X1650 pro if you can, or a 7600GT.

The older technology will never be quite as good in the long run, despite possibly being a bit faster (but I doubt it).

Quote from Jakg :...

There's no way to back up the texts. Well I say that, I have a disc with some LG software on it that came with my chocolate when I had it, but it doesn't work - at all. I looked around for quite a while for software to do the job but I couldn't find any (this was about a year ago).

I think though isn't it just mass storage, so you can drag and drop the files off.

Also, don't let her get another chocolate, they are truely awful. For my new phone I picked Nokia as I've never had any problems with them and I love the way they work. Before the LG I had a Sony K750i which was good at the time, never had any problems with the joystick myself.

There isn't much choice with LG, especially not for under £50.
