I flick between Opera, Firefox and Safari when I get suitably annoyed with one.
First off was Firefox, but when you've had it running for 2 weeks or so it's insane memory leak just brings the mac to a grinding halt, so that went in the bin to be replaced by Safari.
Which is OK except it has essentially 0 useful features, crashes pretty frequently, can't close tabs with middle mouse button, can't safe sessions without payware addon etc etc.
Then I moved onto Opera having used it on PC for years, and is still the most feature rich browser out of the box. It's only problem is it really doesn't render some pages correctly.
So now it's back to FF3 RC1 for a bit until I get annoyed with that.
Yer I thought that, but then thought screw it, I'll drive a better, faster car AND save over £1800 a year on insurance. The price drops considerably when you're over 21 regardless of a no claims discount, and I bet the difference in 5 years NCB and 0 isn't more than £1800*4 or 5 years.
OT: Nathan just been through your photobucket gallery, those cartoon pics labeled 'My first attempt at tooning' etc, you didn't do those did you :P As I happen to know the guy who did actually do them.
Also the number of doors barely has any bearing on insurance price. If you quotes were from the same company with exactly the same cover then I'd be suprised, but I very much doubt they are.
It's very expensive for the first few years, after the age of 25 though it is generally pretty cheap, which is why you'll find most people driving Evos etc in the 25-40 age bracket.
Good god the irish noob has sprung back out of nowhere. The only person on my ignor list, yet I still feel compelled to read his posts, purely for comedy value.
Exactly what I was thinking. It really is phenomenal how long these shows run for. I remember the first time I went to the West End to see Cats, the experience as a child is amazing.
Wasn't too sure about the program tbh, saw a fair few out of tune bits. Still an amazing price nonetheless.
Britain's got talent was a bit of a laugh, no point taking it seriously obviously, but everyone knows that surely.
I would imagine Apple have registered a lot of i* names. I doubt they'd think, right lets make a camera, obv we'll call it the iShot, oh wait now we're going to have to buy that name from someone.
Anyway, looks pretty good, very much like every other digicam out there but good work none-the-less.
It will auto-resume, and may have finished downloading it without you knowing. Either way you can right-click, and click delete local game content. That usually works.
I have to say, whilst I did enjoy the music and am impressed with what he's acheived, I found it more interesting in video format, the music on it's own didn't appeal to me, so I won't be buying. Still, impressive.
Does anyone else find the game suprisingly easy though? I'm about 60% through and have really only failed a few missions. No cheats.
Tbh the 'cover system', whatever you want to call it, just makes it so easy to hang back and take out people one at a time, which is fair enough I suppose.
The only time you could really ever die is if you run out in the open, then of course yer you get shot to pieces very quickly.
It's classic GTA, the game itself is unbelievably easy, yet it's so frustrating as you constantly get jammed on things or he runs around like a lunatic whilst you're trying to stop the view spinning.
The bank robbery mission is pretty good, just make sure you stay in cover, and use nades if you have any.
I would defiantely agree, it's all about connections.
I am lucky enough to have built up a few connections since starting web development, that have enabled me to go from doing small few-hundred £ projects, to having a couple of considerably larger projects lined up over the few months, something that will look good on my CV.
...Which has got me thinking, I'm starting to dislike my course (Comp Sci) at uni more and more, if I don't do well this year I'm seriously considering investigating focussing on my work full time. Of course I have next to no experience being just 20, but I don't see it being impossible at all.
I think with work such as graphic design Dajmin, if you can work it so you have some time, maybe a year or two, to build up a portfolio, even if it includes work done for free, that's something you have to show then. Music I guess is much harder, although your band seems to be doing well
