Wheyyyyy already seen a couple of people bump bumpers and plenty of wheelspinning. Good times. A guy in his Porsche looked surprised as he just span the wheels and made a lot of noise trying to get out of his drive, finally gave up and headed back in.

I'm working from home at the moment anyway so no missing work for me!

I used to do airfix when I was younger with dad. Some of them turned out pretty good, took bloody months to do though. Then mum put them all in a box and they got crushed/smashed

Biggest LOL of the ep was when Mackenzie Crook showed up, just couldn't help laughing at the accent, and after his work in The Office etc.

It continues to be as unrealistic as ever, good fun though

This is an audiophile.

I've never really understood that setup. Is it just so he can get his face on a few websites?

Quote from tombarlin :What a load of bull!!! if he did have a accident they would ask him to produce his certificate which says "insured to drive any other vechile not own or rented by him" then they would check their system showing it registered to his dad meaning hes covered.

What happens when someone hits a car with your family in and isn't properly insured...

Apparently you won't be able to keep a car without insurance unless its SORN from during 2009.

Mmm yer but I wouldn't be buying a little car with a revvy engine that's probably been driven pretty hard with that many miles on the clock, personally.

Quote from Jakg :So tempted by this - the guy looks really like he loves the car, and the insurance is £1,125, same as my Proton...

Also think this looks ace...

Would prefer the 1.3, though...

Quite a few miles on them though

Quote from mclarenmatt :How much "fiddling" would it take to get OS X to work on a "normal pc" then?

£83 isn't bad at all imho, might be worth getting for video and photo editing.

You won't be using a legit copy anyway, so scrap the cost. I guess unless you feel like patching an original, which could work. Too much effort though really.

Quote from thisnameistaken :I disagree with that. I like the Mac OS UI, it's clever and straightforward, it doesn't get in the way, the search tool and smart folders work well, the backup mechanism is smart - everything's just so much more cohesive and considered than it is Windows.

Windows also still has fundamental problems like the cruft-ridden registry, a complete reliance on the old hierarchical file/folder thing, after a few years those little gripes get really frustrating.

I don't know if a few years of Mac OS will leave me equally frustrated, maybe so, but in the meantime it will be a breath of fresh air.

It hasn't left me frustrated, if anything I like it more and more every day.

Sorry Thunderhead, I forgot my sarcasm smilie

I exclusively use OS X now, won't be going back to Windows anytime soon. But it's not only the OS, it's the complete package. It's being able to sit in a coffee shop looking trendy. You don't get THAT with a Dell.

You make it being impossible sound like gospel truth. If you're going to use the Fiesta example, do some research or something, the 2L Zetec which is a straight fit was only used in Mondeos of the same age.

I'm not saying dropping a new engine won't raise your premium, nor am I saying it's viable for a 17 year old. I'm saying you can do it, and people do do it.

Quote from ajp71 :Putting a totally different engine in will make them worried, putting a 2 litre engine into an old hatchback will just have you laughed out the door.

No it doesn't. I swear you just spout BS when you feel like it. I've been there mate, I know the costs thanks.

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :I loved the first series, then the second series got really depressing, it was still really well written and I enjoyed it, but I missed the fun stuff they used to get up to. I liked the first episode of the new series, more Effy is great because we don't really know that much about her from the first 2 seasons, other than she is a people watcher that likes to manipulate situations. The new characters are interesting, but I agree it's a bit more OTT than the first two seasons and the characters are less realistic.

Based on the first episode I think I will enjoy Season 3 more than Season 2, but Season 1 is still unbeatable in my opinion. Oh and Skins is definately not just an uprated Hollyoaks, if it were then I wouldn't watch it.

I agree pretty much 100% with that. IMO Chris was the best character, was a shame to see him go in such a way.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Yeah it's LAZARRR. I'm using a LAZARRR (wireless) MX Rev and it tracks fine on everything I've used it on. My clothes, the wall, the mouse pad, and the wooden thing. I think it's only on reflective surfaces, but who uses a shiney metal desk?

Haha fair play.

Quote from Jakg :I got to try a G15 rev. 2 and a G11 from work and frankly I didn't like the feel of either of them, but it's personal opinion...

My complaint about the G15 is it requires too much pressure to register key presses.
