not even going to waste my time looking at their site let alone get the demo of "pro street" - street racing is illegal for a good reason. need for speed owe me money for insurance premiums.

my first motor a small 1.2 litre clio (called nicole!) didnt have power steering, it didnt need it, it had some alloys on there with a wide tyre and decent tyres on it, made steering heavy for parking but great at speeds. My cars since have had power steering and I certainly feel a bit more out of touch in cornering. i dont know much about motors but thats just how it feels. could be other reasons but i just prefered the non power steering driving.

These will most certainly affect your pings and LFS. Steam can max your internet connection out if its downloading a patch or something automatically, same goes for the others they all hog bandwidth. even something like anti virus can give you spikes if it gets new definitions automatically in the background while you play, although I wouldnt suggest turning this off. MSN Xfire AOL anything that uses the net. Web pages downloading adverts.... just try to keep the internet connection for LFS only.

Nice poll.

I chose short track many laps, I just prefer sprint racing close tightly packed for longer less drawn out and the lead pack often has to overtake back markers making it even more exciting.

I love south city, I love bombing around and seeing cars flying everywhere and tricky gradients causing locks ups and mayhem. I could race south city all day long through the good and bad times i am always grinning a smile.

This is what you need to do to go faster down the straight.

You need to try and push the car up the straight, from the drivers seat. Confused?

Grab the wheel, hop in your seat willing the car forward, try humping the steering column, the slight change in weight will get you vital milleseconds up the road.

Great video mate. I like the way you did the two wheels to two wheels in time with the beat. And the sliding on your side down the straight.

i can chat to xfire from LFS no problems there. the problems i get is the screenshots are very buggy and it doesnt show what server im playing on by the server name (it shows IP). no server list from from xfire including favourites and last visited etc. other than that it does log how long i play and does the main things.

I think with the restrictions on the GTRs its almost new competition for the XFR and UFR. Still the difference in downforce is huge. Such as the GT2s on CTRA server 2.

Maybe the XFR and UFR could do with a downforce booster to compete more with them, i dont know.

If you match the FWDs with the GTRs thats 5 similar car types racing on the track... just a thought on that.

What I guess from watching it myself is that, its probably too long, and some clips could be cut short. And maybe the music is overkill. i dunno.

yeah i assumed its the way xfire takes the screenshots. it saves as a .png file does that mean anything. like would xfire use some other method of taking a screenshot other than a bmp dump like normal. and i wondered if that might have a conflict with the way LFS has seperate threading or something i dunno im stupid you know about this stuff rofl. like you know, something to do with Hz!

I get this with my xfire too.

I use crossfire for the reason above. It uploads straight away, and I can copy and paste a jpg link right away to a thread or something. Where as LFS is a bmp that I have to convert and upload myself ....

xfire stores the file as a decent sized .png file with a jpg preview... nice.

But the pictures come out corrupted like stablex says, about 1 in 5 actually work. Is it something to do with the graphics sync with the physics model or something?
