Whats the point of claiming there is more overtaking when they are not even proper overtaking moves, just the driver letting the other go past him? I mean, its hardly even overtaking. If anyone does defend their line they are called a blocker and get shunted into a wall. Dont try that one, sorry, it doesnt stand.

Just a little hunch, but, the fuse in the power cord or any socket adapters hasn't blown has it?

I bought a new power supply once, only to find that it was just the fuse that had gone. As silly and pointless as it may seem, this is often the first place you should look before you buy anything.

Yeah I remember schumacher taking out damon hill when his car was trashed and unable to get a race result too. Very snide and slimey a bit like this vid. Whenever it comes down to the final championship points, the drivers show their real colours.

I did an rb4 based on several zakspeed escorts but you can see a sort of similarity in there. Im not very good at skinning but if any of you want this made public I can, black or white versions, with a bit of messing around. (since this one has my name on the door).

Why do the latest touring cars look like little hatchbacks with fat arses

dont rag the gearbox too much in braking, youll just lock up the wheels and takes longer to brake or may spin. dont screech the tyres, listen for the woosh. drive it like its on imaginary railway lines but do it as fast as you can.

This here is a really good tip. Just let the grid disappear up the road and slowly and surely, you will pass people as they crash/spin out in the following laps. From there you will slowly be confident to just start of the grid in the pack of cars.

I would just like to add, it takes little time and effort to just say "Sorry" after an incident, it will often difuse a situation and things will carry on. I have been known to just say sorry even if I don't have contact and got loose in a corner and distracted someone. I've even said sorry when I've done nothing wrong, just because arguing about who did what wrong or whatever is just not worth it. Sometimes I think it takes an honourable and sociable player to admit mistakes. It shows in game i think.

Im Platinum and I almost exclusively drive on Race1 because I absolutely hate the GTRs and absolutely love the close racing with XFG and XRG.

I wont sacrifice my fun just for a few points.

I like to think that we will see all the good guys who can win / complete races and stay clean are let loose in the big cars to try and do the same thing as on server 1. I agree that the GTRs are more spaced out and harder to drive in a race like we get with XFG and XRG but I fear this is more due to not giving it a try.

I think if we all spent a lot of time at server 2, got used to the cars and tracks, then we could really get some close and fun racing going. But saying that i'm not so sure it will ever be possible due to the speeds that these cars go at. The GT2's are much better though, Ive had some really good battles with 3 or 4 cars for laps at a time, bumper to bumper.

this is probably the largest reason you wont score highly in points, the joypad is just too hard to match a wheels performance. When my arms get tired from the wheel I plug in my joypad and try to play LFS but really, its near impossible to score any decent points. Sure I get a few points or get some lucky races or two but having both controllers, and using both, I can definately say that is 90% the reason why the wheel guys zoom off into the sunset.

the song is all about the lyrics, its a stand up guy, so theres supposed to be a comedic factor in there thats why you get the gruff voice and stuff. But the lyrics are just spot on, and the tune is pretty catchy too. Love it.
