Just another idea...laptops generally have a special key combination that must be pressed to activate the external monitor...maybe a monitor icon on one of the function keys...you might need to have a look at your manual.

Mi sono ricordato che i portatili, in genere, hanno una sequenza di tasti da premere per attivare il secondo monitor...magari c'è un'icona di monitor su uno dei tasti funzione...dai uno sguardo al tuo manuale.
Hi.
I think you can easily do it, without much hassle...
I also have 2 monitors (primary 1680x1050 - secondary 800x600), but not the same resolution, I think you are lucky to have 2x1024x768, from this perspective.
When the game starts, say on your primary monitor, press shift+F4 to "window" it. It must NOT run maximized.
Then, drag the window accordingly, sizing it in order to fill both your 2 displays...Maybe you'll have to adjust your in-car view a little.
I think it's enough, I didn't fiddle with LFS graphics config.
I can do it on my pc...
Italian translation follows...
Ciao.
NotAnIllution's post is 100% precise (as info), but I must say that, though it's "ALPHA", the current version of LFS has nothing to do with a real alpha version of any software...
I never had a crash, a BSOD, or whatever. It's rock solid, go for it.
Plus, you get all those extra lovely cars & tracks.
As long as you give the obvious inspirational-credit to Erazotropa...Devs and admins here are smart people I really don't think there could be any problem whatsoever.
Yeah, I don't know it's really a >bug< (nor does it really bother me that much) anyway there is that darker line on the lower end of each light, then its reflection should correspondigly be on the higher part of the (reflected) light, no ??
Cool program!!
Some of my first tries: the first 2 screens are 7+ hours rendering (V2 scene) with the office pc overnight.
Notice the "bug" on the reflections of the RAC 2 lower front lights (second pic).
Hi there.
Have been looking on several forums, but couldn't find an answer...
Well, as my lousy skills slowly progress, I find this mechanical dead zone more and more annoying, expecially when changing car's directions, there are those few degrees of rotation when the wheel doesn''t respond as it should. Yesterday I made many laps with the RAC and it was quite obvious that this is a major problem.
Being my first wheel I didn't notice it right away, and I've got accustomed to this "feature" (which has always been present).
There is no dead zone in the calibration, wheel runs steady and smoothly, but I feel that something in the inner mechanism (FFB belts...I guess) has a bit of "play", and the problem is present only when FFB is set > than 0%.
I don't even know if mechanical dead zone is the right description for these symptoms...anyway the question is: is it a known issue ? Is there a way to fix it ?
I mean is it possible to open the wheel and tighten something ?
Hi.
In Logitech software I have assigned the "." (point) and "," (comma) keys to the DFGT red wheel (point is CW rotation, comma is CCW).
They are LFS reserved keys, so it works without further assignments.
