Quote from tristancliffe :
To do what he meant (but failed to write) - accelerate to 100km/h - would take just 170G. Not 10,000.

It's unlikely the human body would survive, although I doubt it's been fairly tested!

David Purley lived through 179.8G in his Silverstone crash

(He decelerated from 108 MPH to 0 in a distance of 66 cm after his throttle got stuck wide open and he hit a wall. :schwitz

'at the actual track itself'

He's at Rockingham right now. He's driving on the 'new track' at 'the track itself'.

MOTWYW

Is he just messing with us or should I get excited? Will the thread be deleted soon?

A great prize

However can I just remind people you have to be over 16 to do this...harrumph! I'm sure I can pass myself off as a 16yo, I'm constantly told I look a lot older than I am Who is checking age?

Woah, woah, go back to the demo user hate!

I think this is an S2 guy trolling, what with his contrasting 2nd post and the fact that he hasn't ever been online in LFS.

Ooh, and he joined yesterday.

My internet seems to be working a lot better now, I really wanted to participate in event 1 but only did one crap lap before my internet cut out! Nice to see an incentive to do the rest, though I don't really have any need for the controller (I'll probably donate it to someone else that has met the criteria and wants it Or just do the draw again :razz

Thank you SR, Sccc and Atomant!

Best of luck to you today Dan! I don't really care about whether I win, I'll be very happy if the time makes you very happy. Hope you find a nice perky bottom to run behind

Sorry, I missed you asking how old it was. Your tone made me think you were just coming here looking for trouble and trying to deter bidders for no reason. Your questions are fair enough, if worded weirdly maliciously. You don't need to attack me and pluck figures out of nowhere, just ask me what you want to ask! But anyway...

Not 3 years old (where'd you get that from?), just over one iirc. I bought it new off amazon, it came with all the correct packaging, everything wrapped up in the official stuff. It's second hand now, obviously, but I only used it for a few months - about 3. Not very often either, I must admit, as I was having computer troubles. I got it for £60.

If you look 7 posts up, you'll see that the bidder pulled out. They said they spent a good deal of money on something else and couldn't buy the wheel anymore (I assume they are pretty young), but if we could do a deal where I give it to them for under £20 they'd be happy to buy it. I offered it to the next bidder down at their highest bid, £45, using the 'second chance' feature, but they did not see it and you cannot do it for more than a day.

I'm going by price, and when I first put it up it 'went' for £46. It wasn't like it was one ludicrous bid either, the next highest was £45 (yes, different bidder) and 4 out of the 14 bids were below £30. I'd say £46 was a fair price, definately worth it. Okay you wouldn't want to pay much more for it but if you get it cheaper you've got a bargain. This is a quality wheel.

Happy bidding folks! Let's not let this thread be derailed by dadge, like has happened so often. Just joking with you :P

Quote from pik_d :Copy/paste from other thread.

Harsh luck, seriously harsh.

Well as I said, thanks for coming guys, there were a few fails, but it was an enjoyable race. Some not particularly smooth, but incredibly exciting pack racing really got my heart pumping (there were some silly maneuvers and cars where there shouldn't have been at times, and while it made my heart go even more, please try to cut that out! Having said that, it was more clean than it 'should have been' - it exceeded my expectations. 4 wide how many times!?)

Good stuff! I'm looking forward to SCing some more in future.

Pah, the highest bidder pulled out after it ended, stating some ludicrous reason and asking if they could have it for under half the price, outside of eBay. And the second chance bidder didn't respond. Report them?

It's back up here. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Logitech ... &_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)

Everything is the same, low starting price etc etc...9 days left. Happy bidding!
