Could you set up a new website (obviously on another IP) just for info?

A plain HTML site is enough, so we can get live info of the status of maitenance operations and DDoS attacks. Twitter would be ideal, but you already told us that won't happen....

This site will be more oriented to league/communities admins than the general public.

Any sugestions for a way to bypass these attacks and play while master server is offline? (this would also help if it brokes again as did few months ago)

Dedicated servers have the option to not connect to Master server, so they are not affected by the attacks. But on the other hand, the game always tries to contact with master server.

Is ther a way to avoid this so we could still play without the master server?


I guess that comunication LFS tries to do has something to do with license validation, so...I guess it may not be a trivial change

Why is it that in all of those pictures that show how a word is said the same in every language but one, at least one language is completly wrong?

It is ananas in almost any country, pineapple in English and piña in Spanish. Which is equally weird

I recall some othe picture with the word cinema, in that ocasion the mistaken language was Estonian, or Finish (something in north/East Europe). And I'm sure there are a fe more examples.

Those options can be changed inside LFS, recording is a heavy task for the computer, so it's normal a FPS drop, but not that much as you are suffering.

LFS has a "bug" while recording with Fraps, it can be avoided by turning sky to 16 bits.

Lastly, recording writes a lot of data on the hard disk, so it needs to be defragmented (if this is the right word xD).

Set sky to 16 bits anddefrag your HDD. This is the answers anybody will tell you

Wow, Kunos people is fast. They've already give me the 3 unlocks I asked for less than 3 hours ago.

Backup of the lic folder done. Everything ready to try this new version this afternoon

It seems to be correct. If I unlock the game, close it and open it it keeps unlocked. But somehow, when I try to play another day it's locked again.

I'm going to do a backup of that folder once I can unlock this new version, though I hope this issue not to be present anymore.

Am I the only that is suffering some kind of bug where AC loses its activation?

I've already used my 3 unlocks, and now I have to wait 2-3 days untile they give more to try the new version


Might it be related to Windows hibernating?

Create a server from LFS itself, and clear the password textbox.

I unticked the "Fix camera to horizon" and the feeling improved a lot. Before it was just wrong, now I can see better what the car is doing.

Tried multiple settings for the FFB, all of them resulting in the same, I can't feel the road nor the car.

If I ride a kerb at 5km/h the FFB works as expected, but once I reach some speed the forces just cancel themselves and my wheel is static. Maybe the G25 isn't the greatest wheel, but one would expect some rattling on these huge kurbs and on the grass

I know, that's why I am asking to more people. Having only 2 opinions is not enough to tell if it is a issue of the game or in our settings.

Luchian, I tested those values, I feel a slight improvement, but it is still way too far from what I expect to be a correct FFB. I'm talking with a friend and he also sais that the feedback is very poor.

May it be the car setup that is too soft or something?

Is there any way to get real force feedback?
because as of now I only get a constant force during corners and a dull vibration under braking. But no vibration/shaking at all while riding on the kerbs

A .vob mod is a modification of a car shape (3D model). It may also alter its collision mesh, causing a lot of problems on online crashes. So they are completly forbbiden in LFS.

Run LFS as administrator, unlock the game, reboot your computer.

These steps should solve your ploblem.

Are you hibernating your computer instead of shutting it down?

They work only if you are on track in a server. A bit silly, because those commands are pretty useful.
