i actually want pikes peak except i want it to be a race down AND up, the downhills section might even the playing fields a little, seeing that downhill courses are based mainly upon skills
I voted for:
Touring cars ( WTCC, ETCC, BTCC look a like )
Race karts ( 125cc shifter, 125cc TAG, 100cc
Rally cars ( WRC look a likes
Classic GT/touring cars
Hothatch ( hatchback )
Extra GT cars ( RB4 GTR, RACgtr, LX8 )
I wanted La mans cars but i pressed the vote button before i know what the abbreviation ment...
the carts would be great fun, rally cars would be too, and their road going counterparts(hot hatches) and also i like gt cars such as the aston martin DB9 and also more GTR cars(AKA time attack cars would be nice)
well just have restrictions on the entry car's setup on the server, just like filters... just like real spec racing!
well, how about this... adjustable STEERING RACKS, if people choose to have unreasonable locks, they will either break the car(if they do it on FF cars) or not be able to fit too big of a steering rack into the car(ie: like when they install a big steering rack on cars with too big of an engine...)
just imagine if you had a garage full of differentials and gear boxes, and you can pick any combo that you desire!
who the says that drift servers are worst then cruise servers? is random ramming and chatting better then people practicing car control?
people say lol to save themselves form embarrassments(just as you would do in real life). and people spin out because they are new to driving on LFS and or drifting. people hit other people by accident because of understeering or spinouts. and people swear and get into chases because they are still kids and want revenge from the crashes...
the revenge and swearing part happens less in license servers only because people have a reputation to keep up...
a)what's an eleven plus
b)i have a license
c)i have had more driving experience then my license allows...
d)how is the rear double trans-axle a bad idea? it would be a cheap nissan GTR! albeit a little tall...
and...
e)i will not ever leave cars alone now that i discovered it's wonder, it is just such a great thing! and i am an avid fan of top gear...
and if maturity is an issue... i don't think it is... i don't think of randomly running someone over on my way to school... or jumping off a ramp like the dukes of hazard...
is there anyway to "sit in someone's car"? like spectate, exept you are viewing form the passenger seat, and there is actually a guy there, and the driver can see you?
aw, man, this guy keeps buying new accounts?!?!?! wow...
@daemon, don't admit to anything, if you are trying to start over, you DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT "THAT GUY", but good job donating to the devs! we will get better stuff soon!
soo... i am guessing that a permanant, symmetrical AWD car such as the impreza NEEDS the transaxle, and the drawbacks are... difficult to change parts, since everything needs to be specially tailored to that fit...
and if the impreza didn't have a compact center transaxle, the transmission would have to either be REALLY far forward, or the layout wouldn't even be possible to achieve,
edit: actually, i think the transaxle on the impreza is a standard placement of tranies... i think that subaru should shift the transmission further back... and have a double-transaxle.
a proper drift car is suppsoed to be light and FR layout
so i would say the XRT or the XRG
a porsche with RR is not an ideal drift car, it's harder to initiate a drift in and also very polar when you start to slide, so you will just end up trying to control yourself and end up backwards coming out of the corner(this is from actually driving a porsche...)
i would pick the XRG because it's moderatly powered and it's FR and light
have you tried escaping the car park and launching yourself back in through the barriers? now do that 10 times, you will have a car with 2 wheels in front of a thing that looks like a car with only the b pillars back left...
