i believe the game settings were default, we did test between 300,500,700 and 900º and nothing really helped with the insane struggle it is to catch the slightest bit of oversteer. the usual turn in small corrections or corner exit are just a habit yes, but if you induce lift off oversteer for example, theres no way to recover, when you do, the car has stopped
So my friend bought the basic 3month iracing package, so after a couple hours trying the mx5 i like a few things on the game but i feel the oversteer is hugely exagerated, and near impossible to catch, is this a setup thing or is the game just not spot on in that car's physics?
driving on default setup with a g25+ h pattern shifter.
i used to have some wr's in the lx6 with kb, looong time ago. with enough practice its viable but lfs' feedback is one of the best so wheel is a must, years since ive touched this game though, just checking in to see if anything new comes up
in a turbo diesel engine its probably the best spent money, on a N/A petrol its useless unless there are changes to some components(intake/exhaust mostly).
early s2 versions showed the terrain under each tyre when in F9 mode, but anyway this doesnt sound like a good device, it isnt difficult to use in/out sim and scawen has provided and has showed that justifiable requests will be included into in/out sim, theres no reason why the thing shouldnt support lfs, unless it really is just a canned system.
flippy here got it nail on
hehe i only managed to play in 640x480 wich is only pixels on the screen, reminded me of the old lotus games in the 386, 15 mins loading the track, ZzzZZZzzZZ, 800x600 would give 3-4fps, ill stick with lfs and gtr2.
isnt firefox 2 in the repos? why didnt you use apt if its in the repos? it would save you all the symlinking fuss, even if it isnt you can always add it from some third party repo.
