I also don't think this helps you in any way but afaik: The master server doesn't really care with what IP you unlock the game. It just depends on how many unlocks you still got (on the master server). In any case you can't play online with 2 users using the same account.
I can't use exactly the same settings for my MS FF Wheel and my DFP or vice versa. So I totally agree.
About the whole fixed setup idea:
Why not can be fun.
Only problem I see is that then more people don't practise car/tracks in front of league races because they already have then a setup.
(btw I always hate it seeing people start somewhere in a league race and don't have a set or know how much fuel the car needs etc. but that's a totally diff. problem)
Tbh this time I practiced a bit and also worked on a setup.
I was really glad to have such a nice final race, where still 3 people could win the whole Cup but then it was a bit frustrating that so many didn't show up. We waited there 15 minutes for nothing.
In the race it was abit like that I had to fight against my own mistakes. But it worked very well
Anyway thx to all who raced today and to Davo for doing the Admin stuff.
Thx
Hehe well don't forget D6nn can also still win it (if I calculated it right).
So better watch out, if you wreck me then maybe I'll take you with me and then we have a lucky third.
Tried to pass Rooble in lap 1 but had to slow down and was catched by DaveWS. Then I tried to pass DaveWS again but had to slow down a bit and then the D6nn cutted my line in T2 and I had to brake or we would have been crashed.
Then I was a bit pissed and concentrated a bit more and then DaveWS run a bit wide in the last turn. D6nn passed him and I also slipped through this gap.
Then D6nn tried to catch Rooble at the entrance of the chicane. He touched him and Rooble had a little slide. I instantly slowed down and avoided the crash with him and with the tires there.
Then beeing 2nd again I tried my best to catch D6nn again.
Then I took tenth after tenth per sector from the gap and in lap 10 he made an error right after the chicane. He went on the green and I passed him. But he was still close enough to catch the slipstream on the start/finish straight.
But I had the feeling he then passed me with another risky manoeuver at T1. I was to afraid to crash and run then a bit wide almost on the green and lost again seconds.
End of lap 11 I was almost 2 seconds behind D6nn and my "catch up mission" started again. In lap 14 I was ready to start another take over attempt but he could block it. Then in lap 15 he was ready for another attempt after the start/finish line but he already made a mistake there and I passed him easily.
Then I tried to bring the race to an controlled end. Only in the last lap I had some small sliding problems and run a bit wide into the chicane and almost hit the tires but I didn't ;-)
btw:
The qualy was also great. Nice lap Rooble.
(btw Rooble I used your FEGold setup for the race , I had no time to make some my own but it worked great or better then expected)
The longer tracks always have the tendency to be boring in this car.
I think the next one, Westhill, will be the same. (btw I hate Westhill :really
Thx.
Well it was just bad luck there in T1 but there was no need to restart a league race (would've been better for me and Thor of course but unfair to all the others). It was OK but thx for voting .
Better check Post#1 again:
Westhill International: 17 Laps 25min Qualy on the 9th December Aston North: 20 Laps 25 min qualy on the 16thDecember
Well this race doesn't started really good for me and Thor.
In the replay from the above view it looks like you came a bit to high after getting into the sliptstream of D6nn.
Anyway it was bad luck when then the typical "little contact and big effect" happend there in the T1 bend.
( Especially for LFSn00b )
Then Niko Puntola crashed into me
(for your info: I didn't ruined your race like you said after the race. When you have a yellow flag for more then 4 !! seconds and you don't slow down then it's your own fault and the crash was caused by you with didn't respecting the yellow flag! Yellow means be warned - be prepared to slow down and not drive at full speed no matter what there is!)
Anyway then the fun started, beeing last and trying to get back (with a little damaged car) into at least the top 5
But then I touched Jack a bit in T7 (didn't expected that you brake in that turn sry) but he gave it back to me and touched me in T8 but nothing bad happend to us.
Then I passed tot and Davo and then I was stuck behind Ntech#15 and Thor fighting for positions but I managed to pass them both at once at the oval entrance turn. (That move made my race a bit nicer )
But the rest of the pack was to far away only Thunderhead was in reach (I thought) with his almost 9 secs in front but I could close this big gap only by reducing 5 secs and in the end I was 4th.
I wished we had 2 or 3 more laps but I had my fun and made the fastest lap again
To bad DaveWS had a disconection - you showed an awesome performance when leading the field.
Maybe many people are interested in watching the STCC movies and maybe many like to see stats and standings of this or others leagues etc.
But then we can fill the calender also with "The UXRL results are released today" or "The stats of Round 4 of the bla bla league going online today" etc. Because these are all important "events" for some/many people.
Tbh when I check a LFS race/event calendar I want to see racing events. Not release dates of movies, stats, standings, penalties etc.
If you want to know more about a league/cup or whatever then it's up to the people to check out the leagues sub-forum or the website of that league.
Where in the world did you got that from??
Or does the smiley mean you were j/k?
Try google with:
1 GB DDR-RAM, PC400, MDT, CL2,5
I never had problems to find 1GB with CL2,5
It's not mostly CL3 or CL2,5 it just depends on what you want to pay for it.
Truth is that most stores offer/sell the cheaper (slower stuff)
I heard they told him that before, after he won the DTM in 2005.
Only one year as F1 Test driver then you'll get a seat.
And now back to DTM
Mercedes illepall
Congratz again for the win Rooble.
Pole+not really big mistakes=P1
I knowed that you won't pit I also hadn't planned it. Front pressure on 200 was the key and smooth slower (1.53.high/1.54.xx times) driving.
But I was too excited that I was only 0.88 behind you and 2 secs in front of the others after lap 2. I knowed I don't have much time to attack you because I had to spare my tires from lap 4 till the end of the race.
My setup was made to take the first bend in the 5th but unfortunatly I missed the entrance of the first bend in lap 3 completly.
I had not really much damage but my FF went nuts. It was really a pain to hold the car on the street.
I had big problems to steer to the left, then the next mistake a lap later and then I lost so much speed on the straight and in the left turns. Pitting was the only choice then.
DaveWS had the same problems I think but he didn't pitted and so I could catch him later again.
It was an exciting race especially at the end, fighting with ZWR|C.English for the 3rd. I wished we had 1 or 2 more laps to go
