Watched DTM today. Very impressed, what a close finish for the first 5! Not many passes were made at Lausitzring, but how close they were going! And Schneider rocks! Kristensen pushes hard too. Veterans aren't getting older!

This year we've got even more racing on public TV with very few ads. One public TV sports channel yet in 2004 had got financial problems and stopped many programs, but started showing a lot those that they had got. Before that they have been showing only main DTM races. Then they started showing the whole DTM weekend. Now they've added more races, so there are 10 different races in the weekend LIVE! VW Polo cup, Porsche Carrera cup, Formula-3, Formula-BMW, DTM, Renault 2.0, Renault Megane, Renault World Series, WTCC, GP Masters. Amazing. Of course, I don't spend 10 hours a day watching all of them. But this really impresses.

I know that. For me it just makes some inconvenience with firewall windows.

Biggie, Do you have the d3d8.dll in your LFS dir? I've renamed it and the packets dissapeared. Checked this twice. d3d8.dll (GhostCar mod) was the cause for me.

Found it because noticed that GhostCar has the same port 28888 to which mysterious packets were sent.

All of my LFS also send such packets. When I make a rule to block these connections, it waits quite a lot (expecting network connection).

Istanbul Park would be a nice track, as many other real tracks. The question is if the track owners are negotiable.

I don't think it's a good idea to force a player to read the welcome message. Most of the time it is junk, like advertizing of owner's website/league/(clan in CS). Yes, you may have sincere wishes, but it will be widely abused.

What about adding time of events into the dedicated host's console?

Was asked to tell a coment from some users at liveforspeed.ru. They dislike the times font, because it is less readable than the usual. One told his settings: LFS font size is default, screen size is 1280*960.

BTW, I've noticed today that at Westhill in Cloudy weather the sky differs. Really, at the 2nd split usually you see blue sky, but today once I started racing and noticed that that place seemed to be darker and the sky visible from there was grey. Is it a feature?

A bug since patch S: I load my autocross layout at AS1 and instead of barrier_long get cone_green, instead of barrier_red - cone_blue (iirc). The layout file wasn't modified since patch Q.
