When I'm being spammed with blue flag messages I'm not going to move over all the way and give them anywhere near a huge line past me. When I see the LFS BF message and one or two informative Blue Flag messages from the user I'll move over and slow down... If I get the LFS message and 15 "Blue Flag! Move ur az N00B!!!" messages from half a mile out, they just earned the right to attempt to overtake me. I won't fight them, but as long as they don't make a move, I'm not moving an inch. I hate when people go out of their way to annoy you with spam. There's a message in LFS that gives you the Blue Flag when you're supposed to get it. No need to fill my screen with your pathetic attempt at feeling superior.

Last movie I saw in the cinema was Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest... Next one I'm going to see is Pirates of the Caribbean - World's End (unless I get a girlfriend, then I might go see something else first). Everything else I just see on DVD.

Although I agree LFS should not be a screenshot generator (I wonder why we can take screenshots then?), most of the nifty effects can be turned off in the options. But all in good time... Once the racing simulator part is done, Scawen can always start working on the screenshot generating bit, while Eric does the gazillion tracks and cars he has in the pipeline.

If rabbi means what I think I can just make out from his defensive posts here, then I must admit that I'm the same... And I think it's from playing LFS.
It's nothing dangerous, actually. Just that when you're driving you're completely at ease with yourself the car and all the stuff that's going on around you... To actually KNOW that some idiot is missing the on ramp they should have taken, and slowing down for them to take it before they themselves realise their mistake. To KNOW someone is in a hellish hurry and wants to pass you on the left before taking the right turn on the lane opposite of the one he's on now (and then making sure he misses the turn completely and watch him/her go mental because I didn't give him/her room). To have the confidence of knowing you're in control of the situation, even though at any moment something might happen that snaps you back to reality.

I never ever feel like being invincible. But I am a far superior driver than most when it comes to anticipation of other people's moves.

And a lot of people feel that way, even if they don't admit it...

And yes, getting upset at others is just part of my waking up ritual. I don't go around pushing them off the road, though. I just call them names from the safety of my cockpit, and go on driving in a safe and confident manner.

I used to let go of the throttle... After playing LFS and getting a car-control course (from my parents, you think they worry about my driving? ) where I could 'safely' try different things in different situations... Against my instructor's wishes (who wanted us to declutch and counter steer, pretty much what I had been doing), I started stepping on the gas to get the front loose. It actually worked. I only spun around once after doing it, and that was because I was trying to countersteer 'ricer' style with one hand. There's one big thing you should remember though... It's not going to help you stop any quicker, but at least you'll be in control of where you're going more.

Would be called a FWERTY keyboard... To name a keyboard layout the topleft 6 keys are are used... Like in the US and most countries you use a QWERTY keyboard, in Belgium you use an AZERTY keyboard, and in germany you use (I think) a QWERTZ keyboard.

Although I like the look, Panda, one thing worries me... Can you still use the paddles without overstretching your fingers or compromising the grip on the wheel?

I still have an unused Formula Force and DFP here, so I'm going to try some combining/modding to them to get the G25 ultimate... Which basically is a G25 with information leds, an axis handbrak and some other stuff I can think of while breaking the other wheels

As much as I love LFS and its community, I have to admit to liking Race to get a feeling for my G25. It's heaps of fun driving the AI. Sure its physics are sub-par when you're used to LFS, but they are not Codemasters bad either. I wouldn't play this for more than a few months, I think, but at the moment its a welcome change from spinning the FZR at AS4 trying to heel-toe

Any ISP that resorts to traffic shaping/capping to "prioritize" packets (read: Spend less money on bandwidth while sucking more money from your wallets) should be terminated. And I mean, literally terminated from business by the government.

Everythings sounds rather promising for them being out in the next week or two now. I have heard from Gameseek that they heard yesterday they're on track for having them in this coming week and that part of the reason for the delay is "Logitech have hardly made any". Hmm..

Judging from the other post, I'd say they made too few of them.
