I read the topic and wondered why you did get an infraction. It was actually a serious bit of news regarding cars, but with a funny title. I have no idea why Luke seemed so hostile about it and the mods started handing out infractions.

Price doesn't equal quality.

The Turtle Beach ones are an expensive brand, as well as being wireless = lots more money. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Razer's are good but unless you have a really nice 7.1 soundcard on your PC you won't notice any difference. Also, I've had 3 Razer mice in the past and they've all broke within 6 months of being bought.

Sennheiser are a really nice brand, they do some of the best audiophile headphones around but you'll pay a big price for the top of the line headset (PC350).

The Siberia V1's are the best sounding, most comfortable headset I've ever had, and these are only better.

Don't waste £120 on the Razer set.

Essentially yes, but then isn't even game just a different variation of that? Push pedal, turn wheel, crash. One of the fun things about this compared to something like counter strike is the massive choice of weapons / perks / attachments.

The resolution/refresh is definately available as I play other games at that, I'll have ago at forcing it now.

I have a 22" CRT Monitor that was mainly bought for FPS games, I tried LFS a long time ago on it but had some issues.

Is there a way to manually force a specific refresh rate? I'm stuck at the choices on the "Screen" menu in game and that only allows up to 85hz, whereas this monitor can run at upto 170hz @ 800x600 - And because of the way the picture is scaled the quality of 8x6 isn't too bad at all.

Is there a way to do this or would I need an external addon of some sort?
