as someone has already pointed out air is over 80% nitrogen and yes the other 20% contains some water vapour, but not that wet

I dont see any real world gain form using 100% proof nitrogen over 80% proof

Drove 2 x 25 laps test races with the GT2's tonight;
FXR @ 23% restriction gave 2.8% fuel consumption per lap, over 25 laps. The tyres would last maybe a lap or 3 longer than 25 laps, but were slower after lap 20, overheat wasnt too much of a problem after the 1st few laps in.
The XRR and FXR GT2 cars felt very close tonight and only 1/2 sec difference in fastest laps (Sidi 2.48.96 XRR / SD 2.49.43 FXR) very similar top speeds too.

Hope this helps the GT2 class balancing.

my dad (nearly 70years) drives at 50mph everywhere round the corners, on the straights everywhere, 50 on the dot, makes me laugh
on the Motorways he ups it a little but I think he worrys about using up all the fuel too fast

UK Drivers worst habits, my top 6:
1/ No indications what so ever, bad lane discipline
2/ Speeding/tailgating (younger drivers)
3/ Too slow on clear roads (older drivers)
4/ Fog lights on when its just raining
5/ No lights on at all in heavy rain/snow etc
6/ Middle lane driving (mway 3 lane)

Sam maybe its just me but I think the way the server page is now, I mean with the writing and pics on the right and live info on the left looks like it would be better to have them the other way round so in the top left you would start reading the "about CTRA servers" bits then scan to the right for who's online.

Its not a complaint I think it does look more tidy the way the racers connected is shown now

I salute you Robert, I use the indicators also in the same way, if someone is lapping me or even drafting me I use the signal to clearly show that I am aware of the car behinds intentions to pass, my intentions to allow that to happen safely (for both of us) and expect the following car to pass on the oposite side to that I am indicating thus making it much easyer (and faster) for them to pass.
I thin what you do shows respect and awareness


I too have seen the oposite indicator used and I think this is a location thing, in another thread (I will find it) it was stated that some eastern european HGV drivers signal this way to allow you to pass them on 2 way roads!! now if a 40tonne artic indicated right here in the UK on a 2way road, if you overtake expect to get a: half way alongside the trailer as the driver forces you off the road as he overtakes somthing himself (as he was clearly indicating to do) or b: sees you in one of his 10 or so mirrors, and hits the anchors giving a little parp and a nice 2 fingered salute as you pass the unit, whether you see the tractor doing 25mph ahead in time is, anyones guess?.

b: is more likely because IMO most truck drivers are way better than you avarage car driver at least near where I live, and we get loads of international lorrys passing thru here, as I live close to the main port and 99% are superb drivers.

I hope you did file a report, I would have! and I would have indicated that many thought it ok to do it too. as I think sheep like actions (Ill do it because they did it) and atitudes, account for alot of the bad habits some people pickup. if people dont want to listen to someone saying "please dont cut" on the server, maybe a few points deducted will encourage them to behave like gentleman racers once more

I think because the "GTR" cars have even wider slicks than the XF/UF, that corner speed differences wouldn't be an issue

I didn't realise the filter was set to "no".
In all other patch releases, all filters were set to "yes" and I think this is how it should be, could be a ligitimate bug?
