/\ Yeah, i've been a fan of cycling since the days of Fignon-Lemond-Hinault etc, but the fiasco of the doping scandals of the last few years have really put me off a bit. Hopefully they're getting to the bottom of it now, but it's always gonna be a question hanging around whoever does well.

Anyway, lets not dwell on that and say, Kirchen has done well so far, but i think he's gonna struggle in the big mountains (and there seems to be lots of big mountains in this years Tour, more than usual) Valverde has been looking really strong since the start, but he's gonna have to get some big time gaps over Cadel Evens in the mountains, coz he's gonna loose it all in the time trials. Was kinda hoping Millar had learned how to climb a mountain properly, but by todays effort it looks like he's not quite there yet.

All in all it's shaping up to be an interesting Tour this year. If i was a betting man i'd put my money on Evens for the win. But he's such a boring rider, just sits on someone else's wheel and gets towed around all day and never ever attacks. So i'm hoping Valverde wins the GC, really like his spirit.

Grafted some extra paddles on my DFP from a deceased Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel a few years back. But got an RGT now, so took em off and use the DFP as a trim wheel for FSX, works amazingly well.

Anyway, i'd suggest what everyone else has said, upgrade your motherboard first. Something that can take PCIe and at least a dual core CPU

It takes PCIe and AGP cards (at the same time, although there is a problem with heat esp on the AGP card), single, dual and even quad core CPU, DDR and DDR2 memory (but not at the same time) and IDE and SATA.

It's not the greatest motherboard in the world, but if you want to upgrade bit by bit it's not bad. Quite cheap too, £40ish brand new.

I don't particularly think they hold much sway to be honest. Both Freud and Jung where both slightly odd characters. Both had very odd views on many topics including Nazism, and quite frankly both spent a great deal of time with their heads up their own arses (not literally of course) which ain't healthy, whichever way you look at it.

Well, you're talking to a North Easterner who has only the slightest hint of a Geordie accent. Agreed, and that was the point i was trying to make.

Spectator access is an irrelevant issue. Large areas of Spa and Monza are still inaccessible to the public. And i don't believe it was the main reason for butchering Hockenheim.

F1 now has certain safety standards that must be adhered to. So, unless its a street circuit, large gravel traps and tarmac run off areas are required. Unfortunately Donnington will get them whether we like it or not

On a side not, the CEO of Donnington had a very brief interview at the GP this weekend. And he did say the section from Redgate to Coppice (i think it was ?) wouldn't be changed too much. But an extra infield section would be added- including another Craner Curves type section- to add some extra length.

If Martin Brundle's beginning to compare Hamilton to both Senna and Schumacher by saying he has that same 6th sense for knowing how much grip there is in a corner in the wet before he gets to it. Then i'm not one to argue.

So who you gonna believe ? a very experienced F1 driver who raced side by side with Senna in the junior ranks and F1, and an ex team mate of Schumachers. Or a bunch of young forum geeks who spend most of their time playing a driving sim and who've probably never even sat in an F1 car let alone driven one on the limit ?

I'm not a Tennis fan by any stretch of the imagination, in fact the Wimbledon Final is the only game i ever watch. But Nadal was incredible. It would have been nice to see Federer break Borgs record, but Nadal was simply too good for him on the day and utterly deserved to win.
