Be sure i had search about these words everywhere to try to understand, i do not see ..or i do not understand what is triggered ...
i found something in the .exe but i do not have soft to open it correctly.
thanks Yisc, that will be great if you can take a look at these files
sure there is a clash somewhere.
thanks for your proposal about Welcome screen, i have this one :
sure it's will be great if links Discord or site will be clickable but this is really not my priority.
the priority is to have a Lapper which not start a race unpreviously
Do a text search of the entire lapper directory/subdirectories for a short part of the message you're getting, like "friendly"... that should get you to the right place in the code.
i must switch off Lapper during the day before an event because, it start automatically the race each time a driver has a friendly message on qualify/training.
please, do you know what lines or command i must change or shutdown ? (in commentary or desactive quote for example)
Thanks a lot, i was on this probleme since yesterday as a simple user
edit : the problem is more well-identified : in fact, the qualify is stopped after few minutes and race start without reason ...

Scawen, modifications are an "addition" to the game. They are installed for their own use to be able to see something other than the serial model in the game. Nowadays there is such a trend that mods (e.g. vehicles) are better used for 'fun' than what the game creator gives. Sorry .. this is not 2005 or another .. These are times where people need new products, something that will allow them to change their existing playing for something more ..
To yesterday's topic regarding the modified VOB .. The development team should clearly write that it allows to insert VOB mods, but with modifications of the original models ... (diffusers, additions, other steering wheels, other lamps etc., custom gauges for Lazy Dashboard etc.)
Nobody wrote THAT VEHICLES WITH A REAL BRAND CANNOT BE ENTERED (I mean Honda, Nissan, BMW, Porsche etc.)
After all these years of development, this step should perhaps not be rushed. An intermediate step might be better.
You could probably keep the collision model and still mod ...
Something like an XRGT convertible for example. Or slight modifications and embellishments within your own LFS car fleet. I'm afraid if you don't set up rules, trucks will soon be driving through South City. And before there is no official mod support, I think the cosmetic mods are the only ones that can be used.
And who knows ... Maybe this will even open a way for the community to help the Devs. With a "re-design" of the LFS vehicles.
I'm talking about an offline use only. But anyway what if we can change the collision box - so the mods can fit the exactly ... but that can happen only with official mod support.
> Just don't cut out things - how hard can it be???
Are you serious? ... if yes, then you have no idea how these things works. Initially it would be like extra 30-80% of work, until it would become completely impossible to keep the versions compatible, then you would be left almost alone in the multiplayer.
Just keep running the older versions (the old game) offline, if you can't upgrade your HW.
The patched LFS is not old, but new game.
About how would buying help. Let's be real, there's no chance to keep DX9 working, not if only one customers wish for it, but generally buying the license makes difference. People without license are basically just noise.
I'm surprised you did got even some replies from users, we are probably really bored.
Wait ... you tag LFS "a very old game" because you have been playing it for a long time and that's it? The fact that it has been around for a very long time (fortunately), doesn't mean it did not evolve with each update - that's the point (be it a hotfix-like small update or a huge graphical update)!
I'm no programmer myself but have been interested in and following the process, so in my honest opinion, yes, you do ask a quite complex and time-consuming work - there would be two versions and both of them would need to be maintained and tested thoroughly with each update.
OT : seeing the current price of crude oil ... I will not guess on less polluting way to get the economy back on when (if) the pandemy will be a bit over !
I seem to have lots of Visual C++ libraries covering a great deal of years ...
Thing is, Win10 hasn't deleted any because they're older, but has just left them in place. And I don't know any better than Windows, so I've just left them.
Thanks, I have another problem ... I would like that when a user enters node 56 of the Blacwood BL2 track he is sent to the pits, I do not understand what is wrong with my code.
void MCI_Handler(Packets.IS_MCI MCI) { for (int n = 0; n < MCI.NumC; n++) { if (MCI.Info[n].Node == 56) { foreach (clsPlayer Player in Players) { if (Player.PlayerID == MCI.Info[n].PLID) { foreach (clsConnection C in Connections) InSim.Send_MST_Message("/pitlane " + C.Username + ""); } } } } }
Hi, the setting is in
Options > Misc > Car skin download > 1024.
You get an information screen when you select 1024 (warning that there will be a charge on the LFS credit). The minimum allowed credit to add is GPB 3.
However, unless you play multiplayer quite a lot, 2000 skins will take quite a lot of time (in terms of days, weeks, months of racing).
Therefore it is possible that you enabled the feature via your settings quite some time ago...
Your Account page might show some info, although it might not be that descriptive if you've had a lot of account activity (purchases etc.)...
Edit: I do wonder; since your account balance is GBP 2 now, is it possible that you added 3 pounds a while back to use this feature and have since forgotten about it?
Thought I'd resurrect an old layout of mine and put it back up on my server (Sin'rs).
Some extra times added since last used ...
YouTube video ...
As you'll see, its a bit like short rally stage, with really tight bits at start and finish, and a couple of bits where you don't want to be on wrong side of road.
Good luck to anyone that wants to try beat the posted best times!
1024 would be absolutely fine, 2048 beeing brilliant. But 512 is not sufficiant at any measure. It actually makes lfs look ridiculous in every youtube channel. I know this is a long and frustrating story and it might even never end, but please @devs: increase online skin resolution to 1024 soon! This is 2020, everyone racing online has a connection that is a trillion times faster now than back in the 90s! ...
<flame>I don't get it, he just starts and it goes nowhere... where is the lap or driving skill or something measurable?
(seriously: considering the LFS engine is 100Hz, it would be quite difficult to add thousands and ten-thousands to the times (they could be still extrapolated from the delta of car position when crossing the line, which would be probably really close to the result produced by finer simulation, but LFS is not doing this) ... and with only hundreds in times I believe there would be quite some people having the same WR, it's not that difficult to just start)
According to progress reports we had, Eric would have spent something like at least 5 months on South City ... Let's not expect Fern Bay to be as up to date within a lesser timeframe !!!
ACC is quite beautiful (some things are disturbing me graphically : when you do great, everything has to be in the same level I suppose ), the feeling is quite good (except at 0-20 km/h when you touch the gas pedal) ... but I am not able to love it ... because of the single type of cars maybe ...
Anyway, Mount Panorama-Bathurst ! Great addition, wonderful track !
Edit: By the way, initially I misread your question and thought you were asking for the original image rather than the original creator. I did spend a little time trying to find the original source but only came up with not very legitimate looking "free" clipart sites that did not appear to give proper credit in any of their images (like this one, for example).
